This charming villa is located in a quiet residential area below Eze Village, on the Cote d'Azur, one of the most scenic stretches of coast on the French Riviera, between Nice and Monte Carlo. The villa is situated in the hills above the sea, facing south with a 180º view of the Mediterranean and surrounding coastal cliffs, a superb infinity swimming pool, plus only a three-minute walk to the beach.
This magnificent single-story Mediterranean villa, originally constructed in 1955, was completely renovated in 2005.
This is an ideal location to visit the famous sites on the Cote d'Azur - what is most handy, charming and quite olde-worlde is a tiny train station at the bottom of the road with a local train going to Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco. Makes sight seeing easy even without a car, ideal in the winter as well as the summer.
There are a number of local restaurants within a 5 minute walk and a very famous, highly reputed gastronomic restaurant in Beaulieu. Also a good restaurant in the village of Eze, about 4 kms drive. Why not have a coffee on the fabulous terrace at the hotel Chateau Eze and take in the stunning view.

The house is a good size, apprx 155m2, with a large garden and an amazing infinity swimming pool of 8m x 4m x 1.8m (alarmed).
There is a one-way street that leads from the quiet beach to the property. With over 1,200 m2 of terraced garden from which one has stunning sea views and a landscape of lush tropical vegetation, fragrant orange and pine trees. The villa is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
The villa, beautifully furnished and well-equipped, takes full advantage of it's Provençal roots with tiled floors throughout, exposed wood beam ceilings and a large, open-plan, airy living room of 60m2. This spacious comfortable room opens on to the large private terraces, perfect for romantic dining whilst enjoying the spectacular Mediterranean garden and mountain views. A wooden fireplace, excellent piano, and two leather sofas form a lovely spot for relaxing area near the arched windows overlooking the sea.
At the other end of the room, there is a Provençal style dining area, also with sea views with a wood and wrought iron table seating ten.
The fully equipped open kitchen has an American bar, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, freezer and refrigerator and lots of cupboard space.
Ideally accommodating three couples, each of the three bedrooms has its own en suite bathroom. All the bedrooms are spacious and pleasingly furnished.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with mirrored sliding wardrobes and a TV and DVD. The en suite bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, a wc and a bidet. Fabulous sea views.
Second bedroom another king size bed and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a wc.
The third bedroom has a queen size bed with an en suite bathroom and a walk in shower.

There is 1200m2 of terraced garden with panoramic views of the beautiful rocky coastline between Nice and Monte Carlo.
The south-facing terraces overlook the Mediterranean garden with a panoramic view of the sea and the mountains. They are furnished with patio furniture, wrought iron dining table, a built-in barbecue and lounge chairs for relaxing and dining alfresco. The property is fenced and private, although the neighbouring houses do have some 'vis a vis' onto the main terrace.
The recent addition (May 2010) of a stunning infinity swimming pool 8m x 4m x 1.80m (alarmed) is the icing on the cake!
There is also a Bouladrome in the garden to hone your Petanque skills or may be a work out in the exercise area for those who want to keep up their fitness regime!
The garage is for clients' exclusive use is attached to the house and has an automatic door. Three more cars may be parked outside on a private street. There is also a security camera and microphone at the gate.
One can even partially see the public tennis courts through the mature Mediterranean pines which are flood lit at night. There are some tennis rackets and fishing rods at the house. |
