This villa is situated in the family resort beach of Valras plage, but at the 'quiet end' away from the Marina and the restaurants which are within a 15 minute walk. These sea front properties with gates leading out on to the sandy beach were built in the 60's - low rise with small gardens (or in this unique case - a swimming pool) overlooking the sea.
'Villa Fabienne' is the ground floor of the property with the owner's upstairs apartment retained by them for their use (they leave the pool and pool side terrace for client's use). It has been decorated with taste, and the open plan living-room and fitted white kitchen give it an light airy feel.

All on one level
Living/dining room, with kitchen area separated from the rest of the room by a breakfast bar. The living room has air-conditioning comfortable sofas and armchairs and is well equipped with a TV, DVD, and a CD player.
There is a dining area seating 6.
The kitchen is fitted and well equipped and has great views out towards the sea and pool - you can watch the kids while doing the washing up!
Off the corridor there is an independent WC and a shower room.
Master bedroom (3.5 m2 & 3m2) is off the corridor to the left. It has a large double bed (160m) and fitted cupboards.
The children's room (3m X 2.5.m) has bunk beds and a window looking out to the 'back yard'.
The second bedroom has a double bed (140 cm), fitted cupboards and an en suite shower room
A second independent WC is off the entrance hallway.

There is a large terrace immediately outside which allows plenty of room for sitting and sunbathing, eating al fresco, and watching the evening sunsets. The terrace swings round the house where there is a large built-in BBQ. One can also park the car inside the property lockable metal gates (Although this space is also shared with the owners.)
The swimming pool is shared with the owners on occasion although they try to leave the pool and the downstairs terrace for the clients' nearly exclusive use. The owners live elsewhere and if they do use the apartment- they do try to be as discreet as possible. This inconvenience is reflected in the very reasonable tariff, considering the rare combination of being both right on the beach and having a swimming pool. The pool is also fenced for the safety of small children. |

SITUATION Valras Plage
Valras plage is a family resort largely used by the local French population - it is very family orientated and has a great choice of family entertainment. You can hire bikes, pedalos, sea canoes. Just 10 minutes walk away there is a huge choice of restaurants and cafés on the sea front. In the high season often there is an evening show at the open air theatre at the other end of the resort (but still within walking distance). There are a couple of very good 'playgrounds' on the beach including a popular small cable slide. You can eat fresh oysters, benefit from one of the best fish shops in the region, or have mussels and chips on the beach front.
In Cap d'Agde (15kms away)
- Sailing and windsurfing school.
- Scuba diving school.
- Offshore fishing trips. (e.g. Tuna and shark).
- Guided trips in glass-bottomed boats.
- Boat hire: motor boats, sailing dinghys, larger sailing boats, pedalos and canoes.
You can also hire pedalos, canoes and windsurf boards on a big beach about 1km away (but not on the small local beach 70m away) - also parapenting, pedalos, water-skiing, and the "banana-boat" speed boat tow is a must!!

Béziers 10 km. Major market town, noted for its bull-fight 'Feria' in August.

Narbonne 34 km. Famous cathedral.
Montpellier 55 km. Large university town.
Carcassonne 100 km Largest fortified medieval town.
Nimes 105 km Roman temple and arena.
Perpignan 110km Palace of kings of Mallorca.
