This beautiful 19th century country house is an ideal setting for lovers of golf and the Mediterranean sunshine. Perfectly situated in a verdant 1ha garden right in the middle of a golf course, 100m from the clubhouse. The house has just had a complete refit and been luxuriously finished to the highest standard, Including Air conditioned bedrooms, a fantastic large roof terrace, and a swimming pool, plus flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, a well equipped children's play area, and some services like baby sitting on demand
Maid service is provided 3 times a week for 2 hours.
Property available for rental Mon - Friday in March and April.

Myself and my friends got back from our week in Beziers on Saturday and I just wanted to drop you a line to say what a wonderful holiday we had. Everything was perfect, nothing was too much trouble for Remy, the house was amazing and the photos really don't do it justice as to how beautiful it is. Ground floor
Spacious 60m2 entry hall, furnished with sofa and 2 armchairs, which leads through to the large and airy sitting room which has two very large sofas. French windows lead out to the terrace.
Large double doors lead through to the formal dining room, which also has french windows out to the terrace. Beyond is the large very well equipped modern kitchen (40m2), with dining table seating 14.
There are two downstairs bedrooms, both of which are wheel-chair accessible; one room with two single beds and one with a queensize double bed, which gives out onto its own terrace. Shared shower room and WC, equipped for wheelchair access. (Both bedrooms have flat-screen TV's and internet access.)

A large terrace, with 3 wrought iron tables and parasols, runs the length of the house. A luxuriant lawn with mature trees runs down to the pool area.
The 12mx6m (1.2m-2m deep) swimming pool (partly walled, partly fenced) has an enormous sunny terrace with plenty of loungers and a covered terrace with very comfortable wicker furniture and a pool house.
Lots of comfortable 'chaise longue'.
A well equipped children's playground and a ping pong table.
The whole two and a half acre property is completely enclosed, and has an electric gate at the entrance. Private car-parking for up to 6 cars.

Saint Thomas. 6130m par 72. Practice area with 16 driving tees. Green fee reductions available. The golf clubhouse and a very good restaurant are just two minutes walk away. The golf course was laid out in 1992.
Montblanc - approx 4km - Village shops.
Beziers 7 km. The cathedral dominates this busy market town, rising majestically above the river Orb. The lively Feria in August lasts five days; bull-fighting, paellas, flamenco dancing, and partying in the streets until the early hours of the morning.
Mediterranean beaches 15 km;
Portiragnes Plage. Quiet family resort.
Valras Plage. Larger resort with many restaurants.
Pezenas 15km. Attractive medieval town, with a fantastic Saturday market, plently of restaurants and bars. In the old town there are lots of independent shops selling hand crafted goods.
Agde 25 km. Old historic town and fishing port, founded by the Ancient Greeks. Nice market, excellent seafood restaurants.
Cap d'Agde 30 km. 'Aqualand' (huge water-slides, etc), small theme park with a variety of rides.
Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc 30km North of Beziers are the mountains and rocky gorges of the Caroux mountains. Great canoeing on the river Orb.
Narbonne 35 km. Once the capital of Roman Gaul. Famous cathedral.
Montpellier 65 km. Large university City.
Carcassonne 100 km. Largest fortified medieval town.
Nimes 105 km. Roman temple and arena.
Perpignan 110km Palace of kings of Mallorca.

Beziers - this is a new route from summer 2008 - the airport is only approxmately 20 kms from Cap d'Agde. Ryanair from Bristol and Luton, London.

Montpellier (international flights worldwide). Flights to Gatwick ad Luton via Easyjet, and to Stansted and Bristol on Ryanair.
