We loved our stay here – far exceeded all of our expectations. We met up with a group of friends for a stay in August of 2016 and couldn’t have been happier. We left our booking a little late and were surprised this one was still available. 14 of us in all – 7 adults and 7 kids (one baby). We knew the house would be nice from the pictures and it didn’t disappoint. Very French and just beautiful. So much space and really well thought out – place to eat outside, tons of space for the kids, near a historic church and walking distance to the little shops that make France so great – bakery, butcher, fruit & veg specialty shops and a small supermarket (two big ones just a ten minute drive away). The biggest surprise was the village overall. We loved being in a smaller village and it had much more life than we were expecting. They had a festival when we were there (complete with a walking around black fireworks flaming paper mache bull) and on our last night they had a small block party for karaoke night where they blocked off the main street – so much fun. I knew I’d be drinking lots of wine and eating lots of cheese on this trip, but the last thing I thought I’d be doing was singing (terribly) with a bunch of French locals at midnight. 20min drive to great beaches near Adge (Rochelongue was our favorite – where we ate at L’infini). We also saw the fireworks there on the Wed – beautiful. Loved this villa and Montblanc. Staying away from one of the bigger cities really turned out to be a bonus – Montblanc was such a surprise – so much character and not overcrowded with tourists. We’ve had a lovely week here and enjoyed some beautiful spring weather at Les Chênes Verts. The villa is excellently equipped and having Karen and Terry on hand to help with queries and directions is invaluable. The children have used the pool (in wetsuits) and spent happy hours playing table tennis and boules. With so many great places to visit nearby we’ve had lovely days at the beach, walking the Gorges-du-Loup and visiting the Maeght Foundation. This villa holiday in Villa Chenet was a joy beginning to end - the organisation was professional and friendly with no problems at all and when we arrived at the villa it was even more stunning than the photographs - especially the beautiful outside areas. The villa was the best equipped villa we have stayed in (they even provided pool towels and mosquito repellent!) and the pool especially was a high point as were the views and the nearby village to buy fresh bread and groceries. When we had the odd query the owner or the housekeeper were quick to respond and very kind. Had an amazing holiday and would definitely come back. The owner was wonderful and kind, and very helpful. Aircon in two bedrooms welcome and only negative was aircon wasn't in poolside room... We were fine but in summer could be an issue for someone... The main house bedroom no aircon but cool as no expose to afternoon sun. Definitely a wonderful location.. Excellent walks around the vineyards in the mornings, and great for getting to Narbonne, Carcassone etc. All round excellent and would happily return! Diese Unterkunft ist einfach nur ein Traum. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer. Schon das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit diesem traumhaften Ausblick lässt jeden Tag wunderbar beginnen. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist unbezahlbar. Eine Unterkunft, nach der ich lange gesucht und nun endlich gefunden habe. Wir hatten zwei Hunde" im Gepäck". Auch diese waren willkommen. Die Abreise ist uns sehr schwer gefallen. Wir trösten uns aber mit dem Gedanken, dass wir schon bald wieder kommen werden!!!

Accommodation that I have long sought and finally found. We had two dogs "in luggage", these were welcome. The departure was really hard. We have just spent two weeks with a family and friends house party in Chateau Ste Marthe. Despite what the site says there are 9 bedrooms available. Our party varied over the period from 10 to 14. The chateau was ideal. Hallway, dining room, sitting room, and kitchen are all spacious and well equipped, the bedrooms and facilities adequate. (It is a C19 chateau with lots of charm and character) The swimming pool area is excellent with available chairs and sun-loungers. Caroline is a helpful keyholder who speaks excellent English. Line, who changes linen,etc each weekend came in every morning with fresh croissants and bread, set the breakfast, made coffee, and cleared away. Evening meals were provided by Karen and Simon who prepared, cooked, served, and cleared up. It was a holiday for everyone. Our family spent a week in Maison Adeline, Magalas and had a most enjoyable holiday. Our first impression of the the house was 'wow' as I don't think the description and photos do it justice! That is why I just said + rather than ++ for corresponds to description. It was a lot better!!! The outside of the property was huge with so much to do! There was the great, well maintained pool with numerous balls and toys to play with plus water volley ball net. There were swings [perfect for young children], volley ball net set up, table tennis table, three different tables to sit at outside, about 12 bikes and two barbecues in the huge garden. Our family was 5 adults and I child so was perfect for us. All rooms were very comfortable, the living area was huge and every cupboard was full of every gadget you could possibly need, e.g. three coffee machines, and crockery and cutlery for an army!! We were there in the heat of the summer but it looked well equipped for cooler times. The owner was a great host and we communicated quite well with our smattering of French and his smattering of English. He came round during the week to check everything was ok but told us he was coming and we also met his wife. We only gave Magalas + as it was a quiet town but we knew this before we booked. However it is quite close to a waterpark, canoeing, numerous beaches and towns such as Beziers. A brilliant bonus was that the Tour de France went right through the village on one of the days which was great for us all, but especially two members of the party who are long term fans. On the night of our arrival we all had dinner at ‘La Voile’, ……and we had a super evening. On Saturday night we dined at Ste Maxime at ‘La Reserve’ - even better meal - excellent. On the Monday we took the boat to St Tropez and after a wander round, we had a superb lunch at ‘La Ponche’ where I had the best oysters I've ever eaten. All these trips were on your recommendation, thank you SO much. We loved the pool, the garden with the olive tree and all the oleanders, the terrace with the big table and wonderful umbrella where we had our meals. The kitchen worked really well, two of our family have been professional chefs and they thought it was great. 2 dishwashers - a stroke of genius. The lounge area was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the Euro football - some more than others, but they caught some of Wimbledon, so that worked really well.Mary, June 2016, From the House Book

The villa was amazing. Location was breathtaking and the service and responsiveness by South of France Villas and the owner was outstanding from the start. We had an issue with the electrics on the first night and the owner turned up with an electrician on Sunday afternoon to fix it - which was so impressive. The only (slight) improvement would be a fan in the bedrooms as it got very hot at night - but this is a minor factor. The views of the sea from the terrace were perfect and we had a wonderful week. All queries and dealings with South of France villas were handled swiftly and professionally and the villa matched the description perfectly. The owner could not have been more helpful. Restaurants a short walk in either direction (beach or road) and everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you very much. We will be back!South France Villas Client, July 2016

We have just arrived back from a holiday at Domaine Fontaine du Mas, where we also got married, and we cannot say enough good things about this property and South France Villas. We went on holiday to a different property with South France Villas last year, which was also great and we visited Domaine Fontaine whilst in the area and fell in love with it - we asked if we could transfer our deposit, that we had already paid on a property we didn't like as much, and this was all sorted out for us seamlessly.
From booking this property a year before, Yvonne and the team have been so helpful to me - it was a stressful time planning a wedding abroad without the help of a wedding planner, so there were moments where stress got the better of me, but any issues I had or things I needed were dealt with promptly and kindly.
There is also a property manager at Domaine Fontaine who helped us book our marquee and find wine and who provided all the services we needed once out there-including fresh croissants to the door every morning!!
