This South of France Holiday Villa in the Cote d'Azur, called Villa des Pierres is set in a quiet village on the French Riviera and is within walking distance to local amenities - you can stroll to get the quintessentially French breakfast provisions of bread and croissant! The beaches are only 20km away too!
Sleeping 8 (+ a baby) in 4 ensuite bedrooms, (one of which is a Studio that would be perfect for teenagers wanting a little independence), master bedroom has its own private terrace, the villa offers air-con, Wi-Fi, a salt water heated pool, hot-tub, sauna, UK tv, summer kitchen, and large garden.
A complimentary welcome pack is provided, which includes champagne, wine, bread and jam etc.
Close to Grasse (5km) and Valbonne and within easy reach of all that this part of the South of France has to offer, this holiday villa is well placed to just relax or take in the sights.

This holiday villa is positioned to enjoy views across the countryside and beyond. With 4 air conditioned bedrooms, heated salt water pool, air conditioning throughout and good sized garden it is a great spot for a soak up the sun South of France holiday.
Access to the villa is via 13 steps to the ground floor entrance.
Furnished to a high standard, with terracotta coloured tiles throughout, the open plan living area has feature fireplace, 3 sofas, French doors out to the terrace and a Juliet balcony overlooking the pool and garden.
The open plan space also offers a dining area with table to seat 10 and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of work surface. French doors out to the terrace where there is a dining table and the Gas BBQ - wonderful for aperos and to enjoy that South of France alfresco meal.
Bedrooms - 4 - each with an ensuite and air conditioning:-
Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom with Emperor size wrought iron bed (260cmx260cm) with ceiling feature, reversible air-con, TV with SKY TV and Sonos music system. Sliding patio doors lead out to a large private terrace equipped with sun loungers, from which there are breath-taking views to the horizon.
The ensuite bathroom has bath, separate walk in shower, wash hand basin and wc.

This South of France holiday villa is set in 2000m2 of private, enclosed, landscaped, terraced garden with mature trees, plants and hedges, plus some lawned areas and a lovely vine covered pergola.
From the villa 9 steps lead down to the pool and pool terrace.
The heated salt water pool has an alarm and is 11m x 5m x 1.1-2.3m deep, accessed by a ladder.
On the large pool terrace is a covered heated jacuzzi, Summer Kitchen, Sauna and outdoor shower.
There are lots of places to relax in a sunny or shady spot with your book or have a siesta, interrupted only by picking a grape or two from the vine.
Sun loungers with cushions and parasol are around the pool.
Outside dining table to seat 8 on the terrace outside the main kitchen.
Portable Gas BBQ on the terrace by the main kitchen.
The Summer Kitchen has a bar with bar stools, a wine fridge, micro combi oven and gas hob, it also houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.

The nearest village, apprx 500mts, is small, but has a good selection of amenities and is only 5 minutes' walk! These include a bakery, a cafè, a very good and beautiful Michelin* restaurant, Le Clos St Pierre (need to book!), a pizzeria, a small fruit and vegetable shop, a chemist, a flower shop and a church. There is also a bistro where you can go for breakfast, which is owned by the people who have the Michelin starred restaurant by the square.

From the Guest Book The Villa is a real testament to the passion that the Owners have shared whilst creating this villa. They are passionate about it and because it’s their home, it’s a real privilege to be permitted to stay in it. It has French charm but also has lovely touches that make it comfortable and relaxing to stay in and the owners welcome opinions on how it can be further improved. If you think something needs changing the Owner welcomes the feedback. It’s refreshing to find someone so amenable and wiling to make your holiday experience even better. Some holiday homes feel too personal to the Owners and personally I don’t like to stay somewhere where the Owner’s possessions litter the villa because you do feel as though you cannot relax amongst someone else’s possessions so we like the minimalist style of the villa. Security is important and I like the fact that it is gated and walled in. The bathrooms have been renovated to a very high standard, and the pool and gardens are beautiful. The terrace is fantastic in the evenings and to sit and listen to the sounds of the music wafting up from the square at the bottom of the hill is fantastic. We were fortunate enough to be there for the music festival last year and with a cold glass of rose in hand, it was heaven, especially after leaving a bustling Nice airport! Le Clos de St Pierre is a wonderful location to eat in as is the brasserie, all within walking distance really. The church bell adds to the ambience as do the residents when you see them playing boules in the square and what I especially like is the fact that we are not surrounded by tourists. France is a fantastic country where the French truly appear to have it all and Le Rouret village is great because its 30 mins from the airport and within driving distance to Valbonne for the great markets and pretty shops and cafes. We never tire of visiting this every year and look forward to it. It is truly the only place I know where my husband actually doesn’t spend all day on his phone or laptop. The local supermarkets are great. Fish and meat produce along with fruit and veg are fantastic and the wines are great. For teenagers, it is quiet, but our daughter tends to go to Monte Carlo by train and into Antibes etc if she is looking for a more bustling environment, both of which are very accessible. The villa can accommodate 8 people very easily and we very often suggest that ours bring a friend but we sometimes find that friends holiday in the area as it is popular and so very often she has friends staying nearby. If you haven’t booked already, I suggest you do so! We love it…..we think you will too! Parker Family, July 2017
