We contacted the Chateau staff before we left for France to book the cleaning service and knew then that we were in for a lovely time. The reception staff were so helpful and no question too much trouble to answer. As it turned out all the staff were great. We arrived before the apartment was ready, but we had a lovely lunch in the open. When the 2 bedroom apartment was ready we were blown away with the standard of the apartment, the amenities and the little extras included. We did eat in the restaurant a few time, but mainly cooked for ourselves in the apartment, we never took the opportunity to BBQ, but it was there to use. In the morning we swam in our own pool and after a hot day out exploring the local countryside and cities, we swam in the main pool, a really great pool. On the last day we wanted to leave after the check-out time, so we vacated the rooms and took packed lunches on the bikes for a trek around the local vines, great fun. We will definitely be back another year, even if it's just the 2 of us, without the daughters, and perhaps stay in one of the Chateau rooms instead. The Chateau location made the day trips really easy and with the sat nav set at non-motorways, we really felt we had explored the area well. Jean B, September 2019
