Possibility of flexible arrival/departure days outside July/August on request.
Situated in the Cathar Region, this is a typical french, stone-built cottage constructed at the beginning of the 20th century, renovated by owners with love and originality paying attention to modern demands and needs such as ensuite bathrooms.
The owners are wine-makers and run an organic 12 hectare wine domaine from a cave literally next door - so no need to travel far for a wine tasting!
This rural cottage sleeping 4 with an outside jacuzzi and a small outside garden/patio is at the side of the main house. This is an attractive holiday home which has been given the '3 épis' by 'Gîtes de France'. It can be rented independently or as 'overflow' for either AU010A Maison Guilhemor AU012A Maison des Vendangeurs
The two bedrooms are very comfortable and each has its own bathroom or shower room and independent toilet (double beds or single beds on request).
The stone walls, terracotta tiles and rush matting give a rustic atmosphere to the interior. The curtains are in soft reds, yellows and orange and the mid-19th century (Louis Philippe) furniture complete the ensemble.
The sitting room is open plan with the dining and kitchen area. There is a comfortable settee which converts to a bed and a television set.
