In a charming canal-side Languedoc village, this South of France holiday home has been tastefully renovated and decorated to a high standard - it offers everything for that get away from it all holiday.
With 3 ensuite bedrooms, attractive interiors, private swimming pool in a courtyard garden and walking distance to local amenities - shops and 2 restaurants - everyone will love it.
You can relax at the property, watch the boats passing along the Canal du Midi or venture further to explore all that Languedoc region of the South of France has to offer - it is up to you!
South of France Character Property ideal for a family holiday sleeps 6
Surrounded by vineyards this south facing Maison Vigneronne is private and peaceful.
The large entrance gate leads you into a tree shaded wide gravel pathway up to a traditional large double front door in a distinctive tone of red.
On entering the property you come into the tiled hallway that leads you to the living room on the right, the kitchen on the left and ahead of you the stone staircase to the first floor.
The open plan living room is very cool and has a sofa, coffee table, fireplace, dining table and TV with Free English channels. From here French doors lead to 10 steps which take you up to the courtyard garden and pool.
From the open plan living space you access the modern, well equipped Kitchen. Again French doors give out to the courtyard garden and pool.
The utility room houses the washing machine.
Back in the hallway the stone staircase leads to the first floor (18 steps) and the 2 large bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom.

The 140m2 exterior has mature trees dotted around and is not overlooked.
The courtyard garden and sun terrace surround the 7m x 3.5m x 1.7m swimming pool, it has Roman steps for easy access and an alarm.
On the terrace there are 4 sun loungers, a parasol and a dining table with 6 chairs - prefect for that alfresco meal.
The courtyard is two steps away from the Canal du Midi - a continual changing scene.
The Canal du Midi flows through the centre of the village and one could spend hours watching the world go by or feed the ducks.
There are excellent walks along the canal and anyone who prefers to cycle the canal path is an ideal route and flat!
Great cycling and running country and close by a bad weather option at Narbonne's indoor leisure complex.
A must see the the Oppidum d’Enserune, an iron-age fort with a spectacular view of the Etang de Montady (a pie shaped agricultural wetland) - or see it from the other side whilst taking an aperitif at the Restaurant de la Tour in Montady.
Capestang apprx 5km - has the quintessential French square surrounded by Cafes and Restaurants and the huge Church - lovely for a coffee and a stroll along the Canal - you can even hire a boat.
Beziers apprx 15k - a working town with amazing Cathedral and a Friday flower market.
Narbonne apprx 18km - a stunning Cathedral and the remains of the original Roman Road - the Via Dormitia, the Canal du Robine running through the centre, lots of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and a Thursday market.
Pezenas apprx 41km - Renaissance town with a lively Saturday market
