Part of an old Languedoc wine domaine this holiday home has the wow factor, it has been finished to a very high standard, authentic yet modern and with all the luxuries one now expects on a family holiday in the South of France.
The very large family dining kitchen is the "hub" of this holiday home, perfectly equipped and tastefully renovated, it will be a joy to cook your family's lunch or relax and watch somebody else do it!
The outside dining deck overlooks the South of France countryside as well as the holiday villa's pool and garden.
This South of France holiday home's rural setting offers peace and quiet although the beaches are only a 30 minute drive. The village centre, with bar, restaurant and local shops is just a short walk away.
The sister property AU028A Manoir Ventenac which sleeps 14-17 is on the same domaine, however completely independent. Ideal accommodation for a large family or group holiday in the South of France.

The enormous kitchen is stunning - wooden beams, huge dining table, full length counter with sink and worktop space and modern contemporary double oven, double hob and appliances. There is also an I-Pod docking station as well as UK Satellite TV.
The Kitchen leads on to the terrace where there is a gas BBQ and parasol and also outside seating for alfresco dining. From this vantage point you have unobscured views over the South of France vineyards and mountains along with the holiday home's garden.
A utility room and independent wc are off the kitchen.
Stairs lead to the first floor
Here you will find a lounge area, with a flat screen TV and comfortable sofas. A balcony offers amazing views over the South of France. This balcony is shared with the Master bedroom.
The large Master bedroom is yet again beautifully decorated, the large superking bed can be split into two singles if needed. The large ensuite bathroom has a bath, separate shower and wc.
Stairs lead to the second floor

Outside at this South of France Family Villa
The decked terrace is the perfect spot for sunbathing and the pool is just down the steps. A secure gate ensures that access to the pool is safe. you reach the 12m x 1m decking area by the pool, (children could call it their beach!) and step into the pool.
The pool can only be accessed from the terrace so very safe for young children should they be playing in the large garden.
A Dining table for 8, sun loungers and a parasol on the terrace.
In addition, a shallow brook runs through the bottom of the garden laden with fish - ideal for the youngsters to get a line or a bucket and see what they can catch!
To the right of the garden is an acre of vineyards so this holiday home has lots of open space.

Lots to explore from this South France Holiday Villa
This holiday villa is approx 13km west of Narbonne and 1km north of Villedaigne on the main road to Carcassonne. Surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers, it is close to the River Aude and the Canal du Midi, a fifteen minute drive to the Corbières mountains with their mysterious Cathar castles (Queribus, Peyrepertuse - apprx 1+ hour away) and 35km to the Mediterranean beaches at Narbonne Plage.
The Canal du Midi is within sight of the house and only 5 minutes by car - with numerous restaurants along its length at Ventenac, Paraza, Rubia, Le Somail. The tow path is ideal for walking or cycling. Boat hire is also possible.
Local Wine - do not miss out on a Degustation - the Wine Cave at Ventenac offers a good selection of wines from the region.
Narbonne – the closest large town approx 15 minutes away by car. The Cathedral dominates the main square, lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and indoor market Les Halles open daily until noon (except Sundays). Street market on Thursday.
Pezenas approx 1 hour - a lovely Renaissance town with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, Artisan boutiques and a lively Saturday market.
Beziers approx 50km Major market town, noted for its bull-fight 'Feria' in August.
Carcassonne - approx 40 minutes - includes the modern town as well as the Medieval Cité, which is in the Top 100 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Summer Festival offers an array of events.
Mediterranean Sea - there a numerous ports and beaches within easy driving distance such as Gruissan where there are water sport facilities for hire and the old town and modern marina offer a good choice of bars and restaurants.
Abbaye de Fontfroide - approx 30 minutes - one of France’s best preserved Cistercian monuments. The Abbey is open from March to December and there is also a very good restaurant open on site as well as classical music concerts.
At Homps there is a lake – a child friendly place to swim and visit if the beaches are a bit too windy. With free parking, a lifeguard, a cafe and toilets.
Collioure - approx 1 hour - a lovely cove on the Cote de Vermeille with a town beach, rocky coastline, restaurants, shops and winding streets. Known for its "special light" it attracted painters such as Matisse and Derain - there are lots of galleries!
Rennes-le-Chateau as featured in Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code and the other Cathar Castles - Queribus and Peyrepertuse - are within easy reach.
Spain – only an hour away to the border and beyond where there are many lovely coastal villages. The Dali Museum at Figueres is worth a visit.
