Large holiday home with private saltwater pool.

This large manor house is surrounded by vineyards and the South of France countryside. The property has been finished to a very high standard with an eclectic mix of antiques, memorabilia and modern furnishings.  

An infinity pool with a pool house and kitchen is set within the garden.

The bustling South of France market town of Clermont l'Herault is just a 5 minute drive away and from the property you can walk through the vineyards to a local restaurant.

South of France 5 bedroomed Villa with underfloor air-conditioning system throughout and large pool.

The main front entrance is a fabulous double wooden door which leads into the hallway.

To the left is the large, modern fully equipped kitchen, with a free standing island, a door leads to a side garden with views over the vineyards.

Through to the dining area with a table to comfortably seat 10. A couple of steps lead down to the formal lounge area, with comfortable sofas, a piano and French doors out to the various terraces and garden. There is a designer suspended fire (although no need for this in the summer!)

A breakfast room is situated off the hallway and has a dining table to seat 6, a fireplace and a sofa.

From the hallway a stunning staircase* leads upstairs. 

Bedroom 1

A large room with a king size bed, freestanding bath and an en suite shower room with twin sinks and wc. Windows overlooking the front terrace and the vineyards. 

Bedroom 2 

The library bedroom has a four poster double bed, a reading area and windows overlooking the garden. Guests share a bathroom with one of the other bedrooms.

* The staircase and window railings have open parts therefore not suitable for children.

From the hallway up some steps leads to the East wing.

A very large double bedroom, with a quiet reading corner, door out to a small private terrace. An en suite shower room and wc.

The owners do not wish for any children under the age of 10 due to the  handrails and stairs.

South of France Holiday Villa in a great location

The house is accessed by a country lane through the beautiful South of France vineyards. Continue along the long driveway to the main house. 

The front courtyard has a water feature and plenty of areas to sit and relax or dine al fresco. The fire-pit doubles as a great BBQ.

The large infinity pool is 10m x 6m and is situated a short stroll away from the house, it is uphill, but well worth the walk. Access may be difficult for someone elderly or unsteady.

The pool house has a small kitchen with a hob, table and a fridge. There is also a lounge area with a sofa bed (ideal for a teenager who wants space!) A shower room and wc.

Plenty of chairs and sunloungers by the pool and also at the house. There are also plenty of outside dining options at the house.

Chickens! the owner has chickens which produce fabulous fresh eggs, ideally if guests could feed them that would be great (alternative arrangements can be made). You can of course keep the eggs!

South of France Holiday Villa from which you can explore the region

Clermont l'Herault approx 3km - lovely market on Wednesday mornings and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from.

Pezenas approx 20km. Lots of restaurants and bars, historic town centre. Each summer the Mirondela dels Arts, an arts festival, takes place. This involves a lot of music and street entertainment. Friday night Estivale with wine tasting, fabulous market on a Saturday.

Beziers Golf St Thomas: approx 45km

Marseillan and the coast - approx 40km

Kayaking on the Herault river Kayaking and waterskiing on the Lac de Salagou

Agde approx 40km. Old historic town and fishing port on the Mediterranean founded by the Ancient Greeks. Nice market, excellent seafood restaurants.

Cap d'Agde approx 45km. 'Aqualand' (huge water-slides, etc). 27-hole golf course.

Beziers approx 50km Large market town, renowned for its colourful 'Feria' in August (street music, carnival, bull-fights).

Lac Salagou approx 12km. Lake surrounded by spectacular red volcanic hills. Watersports. Nearby is Cirque de Moureze, an extraordinary 'chaos' of dolomitic towers and ravines.

St Guilhem-le-Desert approx 25km. Beautiful medieval village and abbey in dramatic gorge landscape.

Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc approx 40km North West of Pezenas are the mountains and rocky gorges of the Caroux mountains. Great canoeing on the river Orb.

Montpellier approx 45km. Attractive university City, Art Museums, amazing architecture and also good shopping. Airport. 

Narbonne approx 75km. Once the capital of Roman Gaul. Famous cathedral.

Carcassonne approx 125km. Largest fortified medieval town.

Nimes approx 100km. Roman temple and arena.

Perpignan approx 132km Palace of kings of Mallorca.
