COVID-19: Everyone's lives have been affected one way or other by the Covid Pandemic which is still evolving, the travel industry in particular has seen many changes. Arrival & Departure
Changeover day is Saturdays. Arrival at 5pm. Depart at 10am. Late arrival (6 - 9pm) and Early bag drop-off (from 2pm) possible only by prior arrangement. Please ensure that when you buy your aeroplane ticket, the flight time will allow for arrival before 9pm at the very latest.
£1000 GB Sterling Breakages Deposit to be transferred to the owner's bank account at least 10 working days before the day of arrival, “Local authorities in France now require all tourists staying in holiday accommodation to pay a ’Taxe de Séjour’ (tourist tax) to the local ‘Mairie’. The local rate is currently 80 cents per adult per night. Persons under the age of 18 are exempt from this tax. The Taxe de Séjour due will therefore be deducted from the breakage deposit and paid to the authorities by the owners”
Wi-Fi is included in the rental. Neither the Owner nor the Agent can be held responsible for interrupted internet service/slow speed or for loss/disruption of incoming signal for Satellite TV –Sky–Freesat–Apple TV etc., when applicable to the property.
Up to 200 kwhrs per week is included in the rent. Thereafter chargeable at €0.15/kwhr. Due to high energy consumption, it is advisable to keep all windows and doors closed when using the air-conditioning.
Gas / Oil
If you would like to use the fireplace logs and kindling can be provided by prior arrangement.
Bed Linen & Towels
Bed linen and bath towels, together with towels for the pool/beach are included in the rental. Change of linen and towels and a villa clean included in rental for stays of two weeks or more.
End-of-Stay cleaning charge is included in the rental. End-of-stay cleaning is to cover "normal" cleaning throughout the house. However, while you are therefore not expected to hoover and mop everywhere, you are expected to leave kitchen appliances (ie. oven and fridge), crockery, kitchen utensils, and bathroom appliances clean, and not to leave litter in the garden such as cigarette ends. If the house is left in an unacceptable state, further monies may be retained from the breakages deposit. Additional Maid Service during your stay can be arranged with prior notice at €20 per hour. Rubbish removal instructions will be left at the Villa. The key holders can attend to rubbish removal by arrangement.
Pets are not allowed.
The owner is entitled to ask you to leave the property without any refund if the number of occupants exceeds 10. The rent is for up to 10 people.
Fire: This is a region which has a high fire risk. It is forbidden to start fires anywhere in the property grounds. No charcoal BBQs, or use of the outdoor Pizza Oven are allowed during the summer months. Only light the gas BBQ in the area designated for this purpose. No smoking is allowed in the Villa. Swimming pool Safety: The owner is not responsible for any bodily injury next to or in the swimming pool. Children must be surveyed at all times. It should be noted that the condition of the pool is subject to variations in the weather and therefore no guarantee can be given to the status of the pool on any particular day. Local laws forbid loud noise after 10pm. No glasses or glass bottles are allowed in the pool area. For people with mobility problems or families with toddlers due to the steep marble stairs to the lower floor, it is the client's responsibility to keep the gate at the top of the stairs closed and the pool gate closed. Guests enter the woodland at their own risk.
