H71 - We had a wonderful holiday at the Domaine de la Deveze. The house was lovely and the location very tranquil and relaxing  tucked away from the main roads but yet very near to our favourite villages. The owners were also very welcoming and made us feel very at home. I would definitely recommend the Domaine de la Deveze, I think this has become one of our favourite houses! This just a short note to express our complete satisfaction with VR3 Villa Chenet which was not only a beautiful and well cared for property, but also in a most peaceful location, we were absolutely enchanted with the sheer beauty of the surroundings with the only sounds being from the birds and the frogs at night, I am a keen photographer and for me this was heaven, my mother-in-law who is 89 had a swim every day in the spotlessly clean pool as did all the group. The house VU14 Saumane was the perfect Provençal get-away for our extended family. With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, our party of 12 was very comfortable the entire stay. The setting is beautiful and the house is so charming. Each evening we prepared a family meal, and played games in the living room with the chimney to warm us. We have just returned from a week's holiday here at H44 Les Rocailles and we had the most fabulous time. Every aspect of the house and garden has been carefully thought out and no detail is too much trouble. It is fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, great showers, big sofas, amazing outdoor eating area, a lovely garden and the fabulous beach is on your doorstep. The owners were charming and helpful. There is a great market every day in the nearby town as well as all the shops, bars and restaurants you could need. We forgot we had a car – just using the on site bikes or walking. Again thank you most sincerely for organizing our holiday in Peyriac. We loved the house it was the perfect peaceful retreat for all the family including Juliet, our grand-child (3 months). When we came up with the idea to go s/c, organising the flights & car etc & I just wished we'd found yourselves a bit sooner. The property we stayed in was out of this world & the owners couldn't have been more helpful. I'd been to Paris a few times, but the quietness of the Languedoc region was just...I can't describe it...breathtaking – you really felt that you were in France, as opposed to being in MacDonald's on the Champs Elysees. Very few people could speak English, which suited us & we just came away feeling that wed discovered France. I still dream of the beach at Narbonne. Another thing we like was how easy it was to book through yourselves. The thought of booking a French villa was a bit daunting, but it was just so easy through yourselves with internet & email. What a great villa,H39 Domaine St. Suzanne. We have had 2 fantastic weeks here. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Lucien is a great host - helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. We got back from holiday on Saturday and I just had to write and say 'thank you' for recommending and assisting with the booking the holiday. It was just amazing!! The villa is set on the outskirts of a remote village with no neighbours overlooking. Out of the kitchen window there were fields and mountains in the distance and lying beside the pool you were surrounded by vine yards it was total bliss. We had to have WiFi, for business purposes, which as you are aware, seems to be absent from most French apartments, villas or for that matter hotels. Madeleine and Damien are without doubt the most charming couple. Madeleine has compiled the most fantastic "House Book" with innumerable, detailed places to visit, markets, and things, strenuous or not, to do for any age.
