Contemporary in design, this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa offers luxuriously cool, air-conditioned living with spaces in which to relax, cook and sleep.

The villa is equipped to the highest standards with smart technology and a cook's kitchen.

Step out onto one of the balconies or onto the pool side terrace to relish the views of the Bay of Villefranche and on to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. A large, heated pool and a dining terrace for 10 people sets the scene for outdoor living.

A 15 minute walk will take you down to the village where you'll find lovely boutiques, restaurants and bars. The coastal train can take you east to Monaco (and onto Italy!) or west to Nice.

The entrance to the villa is on the ground floor which leads to the kitchen, living room and dining rooms and onto the dining and pool terraces. The Bo Concept dining table sits 10 people. With high quality furnishings, a 72' smart television with international channels and a music system inside the villa and out, it's a holiday home for discerning guests.

The fully equipped kitchen includes wine fridge, several ovens and an integrated coffee machine.

On the ground floor there is an independent wc. 

On the lower ground floor there is a utility room and another lounge area with large sofas and a table tennis table.

There are 4 bedrooms all air-conditioned and 4 bathrooms from Porcelanosa.

This modern holiday villa to rent on the Cote D'Azur has amazing sea views

Villa Ciel Bleu sits on the hillside over looking the Mediterranean sea.

The outside dining and lounge terrace runs the length of the villa and leads from the lounge and kitchen. The dining table sits 10 and there is a gas BBQ.  

The heated swimming pool is 10m x 5m and at its deepest 1.8m. Around the pool you'll find sun loungers and a parasol. Modern, glass railings take nothing from the view to the sea beyond.

Upstairs, one of the bedrooms benefits from Juliet balconies and another from its own private balcony - a perfect place for a calm moment with an expresso before the day starts or a night cap as the day ends.

The villa is a very secure property within a gated domain and has an alarm and CCTV. There is parking for 2 cars and a car port. More parking can be found on the road just above the villa. 

South France Holiday Villa in a perfect location for exploring the Cote D'Azur

As well as excellent beach and small boats for hire, tennis and golf facilities nearby, designer shops, yachts and restaurants can also be found in the nearby surroundings.

The town itself offers stunning and picturesque views such as in 'The Promenade des Marinieres' which stretches along the waterfront lining the north side of the bay. The bay itself is one of the deepest in the Mediterranean.

Markets in the town:

Food Market on Avenue Foch Wednesday and Saturday mornings

Amelie handicrafts market - every Thursdays from May to October (and when there is a cruise ship in port)

Flea market - every Sunday, year round.

Why not take a walk to the Old Port of Port de la Darse, via the seaside path around the Citadelle (Chemin de Ronde) and return through the old moat - Fosse de la Citadelle - and pause on the way for a coffee at the little café in the port.

Built on terraced hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, The Old Town is an intricate labyrinth of steep paved streets and lanes with limited car access, offering a glimpse of life in bygone days.

On the hills surrounding the town, the Fort of Mont Alban offers an incomparable view of Cap Ferrat and the Eastern coastline as far as Italy.

From the Plateau Saint-Michel, the view stretches westward to the Bay of Angels in Nice, Cap d'Antibes and the Esterel in the distance more than 40 km away.

In the past, Villefranche-sur-Mer was home to personalities Katherine Mansfield, Jean Cocteau, Aldous Huxley and pop star Tina Turner. The Rolling Stones recorded their 1972 album Exile on Main St. at Villa Nellcôte, then the home of Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg. The old town and the bay have for years offered a natural set for movie makers. Among many productions, to name just a few: - Hitchcock’s 'To Catch a Thief'; 'The Count of Monte Cristo' with Louis Jourdan; Leo McCarey's 'An Affair to Remember'; 'Never Say Never', with Sean Connery; 'The Jewel of the Nile' with Michael Douglas; 'The Bourne Identity' with Matt Damon.

There are many eateries to choose from, but Restaurant La Mere Germaine on the harbour, has an enviable reputation. In addition, Le Mayassa, above Gare Maritime, Le Serre and Les Garcons.

Why not visit the fantastic Villa Ephrussi on Cap Ferrat - the gardens are incredible. For the more energetic walking right around St Jean Cap Ferrat will take you a good 3 or 4 hours.

Bus Services to Nice and Monaco are very reasonable and there is a train station in Villefranche-sur-Mer harbour to access Nice and beyond or Monaco.

Day trips in the car - Antibes , Menton, St Paul de Vence, Grasse, Biot, Peillon.

Nice International airport is apprx 20 to 30 minutes' drive, (approx 14 km). Cheap flights from various UK airports.

South of France by Rail:
TGV from Paris approx 5 hrs.

There is a Train Station in Villefranche-sur-Mer, apprx 1.2km from the house, from where you can get to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Ventimiglia in Italy and every seaside resort in between.

There is also a bus station approx 150m downhill from the villa that takes you to Nice, Monaco and Menton.
