Large Provencal Vacation Villa to sleep 12

Entrance is via the beautiful shady courtyard into a large tiled entrance hall with a sofa.

The holiday home has been beautifully furnished enhancing the Provencal charm and adding a modern twist when needed.

Original flooring has been kept where possible and the stone or tiled floors help keep the villa cool in the summer months. The huge fireplace offers heat for the cooler months. 

The house was originally 2 properties, so there are lots of quirky corners and spaces. As it is an old property there are the odd steps up and down into rooms, along with stairs up to some of the bedrooms.

The very large living area with feature beams, has comfortable seating areas, a magnificent fireplace and connects to an office area, with a desk and a sofa.

A TV/games lounge houses the table football along with a television and board games, a great place for teenagers to escape to. (There is Wifi too!) This lounge has large glass doors that lead out to the garden

The Provencal kitchen has an open layout and is very well equipped, there is a dining area for 12 with modern funky chairs.

In total there are 6 bedrooms, 2 of which are on the ground floor and 2 are more like suites! There are fans in every bedroom. An independent wc can be found on the 1st floor.

Bedroom 1 - Large double, wooden floor, a lounge area, en suite bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and wc.

Bedroom 2 - Ground floor twin bedroom, French doors out to villa's garden/terrace.

Bedroom 3 - Ground floor double bedroom (one side of the bed is against the wall), French doors lead out to the garden/terrace.

Shower room - Walk in shower, sink and wc, for bedrooms 2 and 3.

Bedroom 4 - Large rectangle double room, sofa, modern open plan bath and basin, discreet wc. (accessed via stairs from the courtyard).

Charming Provencal Vacation Villa in the South of France

The huge grounds (10 acres) are the highlight of this holiday home. Provence's famous Lavender can be found in and surrounding the garden, visit Provence in early summer to see the Lavender fields in full bloom.

Tennis court installed 2021 ( Hard surface)

The heated swimming pool* (12m x 6 m) with sunloungers and chairs is next to the outdoor dining terrace which seats 12. The pool is secured when not in use by an electric cover, which also helps keep the heat in.

There is a shower and wc by the pool.

A gas BBQ (no holiday would be complete without a BBQ!)

For the younger generation, there is a fantastic tree house to explore, along with a trampoline, table tennis and plenty of room to run around and play.

There is a pond in the garden so do take care with young children.

*Pool heated included for June and September, May and October 325€ per week, should not be needed in July and August.

This lovely Provencal vacation home is perfectly situated for visiting the whole of the South of France, Provence, Cote d'Azur and it is not far too the Languedoc area.

Gordes - one of Provence's most beautiful villages with a Renaissance château, a museum devoted to the contemporary painter Vasarély and nearby is a neolithic settlement of Bories, primitive beehive-shaped drystone houses.

Roussillon - approx 15 minutes away, is situated on a hill surrounded by ochre cliffs and you can follow the trail through the Colorado Provençal towards the village of Rustrel.

Cavaillon - famous for its melons and a great Provençal market is about 20 minutes away.

Both villages have excellent restaurants.

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - A beautiful town of mills and waterways, famous for its antique shops (some 350 of them!!). Golf course, great restaurants just 20 minutes away.

Fontaine-de-Vaucluse - Source of the river Sorgue, that rises at the foot of spectacular, limestone cliffs. The home of Petrach. 25 minutes away.

Les-Baux-de-Provence - a fortified village "perche" on dramatic scarps, famous for its restaurants. 35 minutes away

Avignon - (Palais des Papes) Remember the song! 1 hour away

Aix-en-Provence - an hour on the motorway, or take the scenic route through Provence it is only an extra 30 minutes.

South of France beaches - less than an hour by the Autoroute

Gordes, one of France's most beautiful villages is just 4km. Built into the hill the stunning Chateau has kept an eye on who arrives in the village since 1031! Gordes has restaurants, artisan boutiques and tourist shops to buy Provencal souvenirs.

A large supermarket can be found about 15km away
