I am so pleased that you have asked me about the villa in Mandelieu. We had the most wonderful fortnight last summer. We didn't actually meet the owner but his father was on the premises downstairs quite a lot. He met us when we arrived and even helped us with our luggage. However, he was not at all intrusive and it was actually very reassuring knowing that he was around if we needed him. His English is poor but we managed to make ourselves understood. He came up to clean the pool every morning but always before we were up and about so he never felt in the way. He was very friendly and I think that it is an asset to the villa having him in close proximity. The villa still feels very private and is not overlooked at all. I can highly recommend it.
