Welcome to Domaine Carcassonne - a meticulously restored estate designed for guests seeking absolute privacy, refined comfort, and the timeless charm of the South of France. Surrounded by 630 acres of pristine countryside, this secluded retreat offers an exclusive escape for families and friends who value tranquillity, authenticity, and the South of France lifestyle.

The large pool (16m x 7m) has a covered area with a BBQ, along with plenty of sunloungers.

The Main House has 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 2 formal lounges, 2 kitchens, formal and informal dining options.

The Lodge (100m2) has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and kitchen/sitting area, there is also a shepherd's hut to sleep 2.

The Main Villa — Bursting with South of France Charm

Step into a world where history and elegance blend seamlessly. The main villa is exquisitely styled with a curated collection of Georgian, Victorian, and French antique furniture, complemented by original oil paintings and cherished family portraits collected over generations. Every room tells a story, every detail evokes character, and every space invites you to slow down and unwind.

Your private villa in the South of France includes:

Eight fabulous bedrooms, from spacious master suites to cosy bedrooms, 1 with Emperor bed, 1 Super-king, 4 King, 2 twin. One of the bedrooms is a type of attic and has a double bed along with 2 singles, this is suitable for teenagers, the ceiling is low in places and is accessed by stairs.

Six of the large bathrooms are ensuite, and there is a further independent bathroom for the 2 twin rooms to share.

Two 16-seat dining tables ideal for memorable gatherings, either informally or a banquet in the grand family dining room. (Extra tables available if you are 22)

Two elegant sitting rooms, each with generous seating and a traditional fireplace, one of them can be transformed into a cinema room.

Two fully equipped kitchens, including a professional Château Cornue cooker.

The Lodge - Next to the main villa, has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and sitting area. The shepherd's hut is a unique place to sleep with 2 single beds. (The bathroom is in the Lodge), there is also an outdoor shower!

The house is so large it's impossible to fit a detailed description on here, and one that could do the Domaine justice! In our opinion it is just paradise!
As with any renovated estate, the original features mean that there are sometimes uneven stairs, one could easily get lost inside whilst exploring, so take care with young children.  Each bedroom has a fan and heating for the winter, thoughtfully designed storage, full Wi-Fi access - just in case you do have to work whilst on holiday in the South of France.

Day trips to sandy beaches or the Pyrenees mountains make Domaine Carcassonne a perfect base for exploring this culturally rich South of France region.

The nearest village is a 10 minute drive away, with a small supermarket, butchers, bakers, hairdressers, pharmacy and a couple of restaurants.
