Situated on the edge of a traditional wine producing village in the Corbieres region of Languedoc (Occitanie), this contemporary villa is very comfortable. This South of France holiday property is well equipped and benefits not only from a lovely pool and terrace, but from a jacuzzi and sauna.

Opening the door to this South of France villa is like stepping into the pages of a magazine as the space is a showcase for the owner's artistic talent. Art work is on display throughout the villa and it is a truly unique place to stay. Be inspired by fine bold murals, mosaics and sculptures offering a contrast to the surrounding Mediterranean countryside.

A young local family have built an ensemble of six properties (4 available for rent) on their Estate and Maison Lisa is new to the portfolio. They all enjoy their own privacy, pools and terraces. They are not directly overlooked by neighbours and can be rented together for a group of up to 28 people (see Ref: AU020A, AU021A and AU032A).

South of France Villa with Pool for 8-10 people

This villa, built on one level, benefits from great volume in the large open plan living room that opens out onto a funky terrace and pool area.

Through the front door you will find a corridor off which is an independent wc and another small room housing the washing machine.

The large living room is a convivial space with a pop-art feel, there is plenty of sumptuous seating for 10 people, a flat screen TV and is air conditioned.  Large, sliding doors take you onto the terrace and pool area.

The kitchen looks over the pool and terrace and is well equipped with American fridge, Nespresso machine and dishwasher.

There are 4 good sized bedrooms sleeping 10 people.

Bedroom 1 - 30m2 with a superking bed 180cm x 200cm and air conditioning. French windows give out onto the terrace and sauna

Bedroom 2 - 20m2 with a 160cm queen size bed and en suite shower with wash hand basin. There is also a flat screen TV on the wall which is hidden in a metal chest! This bedroom opens onto the covered terrace.

Bedroom 3 - with a 160cm queen bed and en suite

Bedroom 4 - offers 2 single beds of 90cm x 190cm plus a set of bunk beds (top bunk is 90 cm, bottom bunk is 140 cm)

A large independent bathroom has a shower, wash hand basin and wc.

The Owner has created works of art especially for this villa setting which will truly surprise and delight!

South of France Holiday Villa to sleep 8-10

This unique Languedoc villa has great outside space with views across the Corbieres countryside. Facing west, it is the perfect place to relax throughout the day and during the evening for aperitifs and dinner.

The alarmed pool is 12m x 3m and if that were not enough there is also a sauna and a jacuzzi, the latter is under an abri and can therefore be enjoyed all year round.

There is an outside dining table, comfortably seating 8 with a BBQ and very designer, pallet-style lounge furniture all under a large covered terrace should you want a bit of shade from the Mediterranean sun.

Lots to explore from this South of France Holiday Villa

This lovely villa is situated in Montseret, a typical Mediterranean wine-producing village in the Corbieres. The owners have vineyards and the local Cave Cooperative is just around the corner.

There is a small grocer's shop in the village and in St Andre de Roquelongue which is only 3km away there are village shops, a pharmacy, café and Municipal tennis courts.

The landscape around the village is stunningly beautiful; nearby are the medieval Cathar castles of Queribus and Peyrepertuse; majestic ruins rising above precipitous summits.

The Mediterranean beaches (Gruissan, Narbonne and Leucate) are all within 25-40k.

The Pyrenees mountains and the Spanish border are only an hour away by car - a must see is the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres - don't forget to book!

Abbaye de Fontfroide approx 10km

Narbonne approx 18km - a lovely town, Canal de la Robine running through the centre, great shops and a market, fantastic Cathedral and remnants of the "Via Domitia" (Roman road).

Bages approx 22km. Lovely fishing village on the shores.

Narbonne 'Etang' (lagoon) Several very good seafood restaurants. Great windsurfing on the étang in early spring and late autumn (some speed records have been set here).

Sigean approx 24km Wildlife safari park.

Port-la-Nouvelle approx 30km. Superb sandy beaches.

Béziers approx 48km. Major market town, noted for its bull-fight 'Feria' in August.

Pezenas approx 65km. Attractive medieval town.

Montpellier approx 120km. Large university town.

Carcassonne approx 60km Largest fortified medieval town - a UNESCO site.

Nimes approx 150km Roman temple and arena.

Perpignan approx 6km Palace of Kings of Mallorca
