We have spent a lovely holiday in your beautiful villa. The house, the pool and the setting are tranquil, comfortable and spacious. We visited Vias Plage, Pezenas (highly recommended), the marche, the degustation and the local restaurants and bars. We enjoyed Cafe Brigitte, La Guingette and L'Hacienda. A great location on the outskirts of the village of Bessan in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, with only a 5 minute walk to the village bakery for fresh bread and croissants and other local shops plus Restaurants/Cafes.
The Summer kitchen offers welcome shade from the South of France sunshine, whilst being able to keep an eye on the pool.
The pretty town of Pezenas, Beziers, the University city of Montpellier - the capital of the Languedoc region - and Carcassonne are all very accessible.

This 3 bedroom holiday villa in Languedoc, South of France is all on one level.
Well equipped typically French kitchen off the entry hall. Four steps down to small laundry room, (which has doorway out at the back of the house into the back garden) with washing machine, tumble dryer and small fridge.
Very spacious open plan dining room and living room (60m2) with air conditioning and French windows leading out to the terrace which also has garden furniture for eating alfresco. In the living room, two leather sofas and an easy chair make for good comfort.
Three bedrooms, two of which have double beds both 140cm (one having access back into the dining/living room) and one bedroom with two singles are along the corridor. In the corridor there is a powerful air conditioning unit which helps to cool down the bedrooms.
Bathroom with sunken bath, separate shower and 2 wash hand basins.
One independent wc off corridor. (There is another WC by the pool)

South of France Holiday Villa not far from the beach
This South of France family villa has a large garden of about 1300m2, offers a well-tended lawn for relaxing and playing ball games. Some of the trees and hedges are mature with pretty flowering oleanders.
There is a covered terrace along the side of the house with garden furniture (a table for 6 people) for pleasant outside dining.
The pool is heated from April-end of October, it is 11.5m x 5.5m has a safety alarm system, Roman steps and is 1.10m to 2.2m in depth, excellent for young children. There is a large paved terrace with chaises longues for bronzing under the South of France sun! The pool has a salt water chlorination system.
The pool house has a great summer kitchen with a sink, a small fridge for that all important chilled apero! and another table for eating out.
There is a large built in BBQ next to the pool house.
Round the back there is a covered parking space for two cars, a washing line and a ping pong table.

Bessan - a pleasant village 500m away (about 5 min walk) with a selection of shops, cafés , a small family restaurant, other restaurants can be found about a 20 minute walk away.
Tuesday and Sunday morning markets.
Golf Saint Thomas (approx 5km) 6130m par 72.
Practice area with 16 driving tees.
The golf clubhouse and a very good restaurant for lunch or dinner in the summer.
Montblanc approx 4km. Village shops, perfue factory and a great restaurant.
Pézenas approx 12 km. Attractive medieval town, Nocturnal opening on Wednesdays and Fridays, Local artisan shops, restaurants. Great market on a Saturday.
Marseillan Port/Village approx 10km. Great fish restaurants and one of the best restaurants aroound Table d'Emilie. Visit the caves of Noilly Pratt and taste the local ambre.
Beziers approx 22km. The cathedral dominates this busy market town, rising majestically above the river Orb. The lively Feria in August lasts five days; bull-fighting, paellas, flamenco dancing, and partying in the streets until the early hours of the morning.
Mediterranean beaches approx 10km
Portiragnes Plage: Quiet family resort.
Valras Plage: Larger resort with many restaurants.
Agde approx 8km. Old historic town and fishing port, founded by the Ancient Greeks. Nice market, excellent seafood restaurants.
Cap d'Agde approx 15km. 'Aqualand' (huge water-slides, etc.) 27-hole golf course.
Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc approx 30km North of Beziers are the mountains and rocky gorges of the Caroux mountains. Great canoeing on the river Orb.
Narbonne approx 48km. Once the capital of Roman Gaul. Famous cathedral.
Montpellier approx 55km. Large university town.Airport.
Carcassonne approx 1 hour. Largest fortified medieval town. Airport.
Nimes apprx 1.5 hrs. Roman temple and arena. Airport.

A wonderful Villa in the sleepy village of Bessan. Perfectly located for day trips to the surrounding areas. The kids had a blast at the Aqua Park, Aquarium and in the pool. What a great place and a real privilege to stay here. Your house is amazing, the pool is perfect .... we had wonderful stay and even though it was late in the season, we had 2 weeks of great weather and even went in the sea. What a beautiful beach!
