South of France Beachfront property with a Terrace on the Beach in the Languedoc, sleeps 8.

This beachfront holiday accommodation is situated in the family resort beach of Valras plage, South of France apprx 10 minutes from the Marina and the restaurants. These sea front properties with gates leading out on to the sandy beach were built in the 60's - low rise with small gardens.

The holiday property has a light and airy feel and lovely views through the living and dining area directly onto the beach. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. Decorated quite simply but with everything you need for a beach family holiday in the Languedoc, South of France. This is a great place for enjoying the sea, local restaurants, water sports.

Villa St Pierre is the ground floor of the property with a separate entrance, upstairs being owned by a different owner. When the terrace awning is down the terrace is not overlooked from upstairs.

This beachfront holiday apartment in Valras plage is all on one level.

Open Plan Living/dining room, with kitchen area separated from the rest of the room by a breakfast bar. The living room has lots of comfortable armchairs and 2 sofas and is equipped with a TV and DVD.

There is a dining area seating 8 which has great views out towards the sea and has big glass sliding doors leading directly on to terrace with an awning. 

The kitchen is fitted and equipped for holiday use and has views out towards the sea through the dining area - you can watch the kids on the beach while doing the washing up!

Off the corridor there is an independent wc and a shower room with bidet and washbasin.

Bedroom 1 is off the corridor to the left. It has a set of bunk beds (two beds), a travel cot and fitted cupboards.

Bedroom 2 has a standard double bed (140cm) and built in cupboards.

Bedroom 3 has a standard double bed and fitted cupboards. Faces back courtyard.

Bedroom 4 has a standard double bed and fitted cupboards.

A second independent shower room with sink, bidet and wc is near bedroom 4.

There is a utility cupboard in the hall.

Walk onto the sand from this vacation rental in the South of France

There is a large terrace immediately outside which allows plenty of room for sitting and sunbathing, eating alfresco, and watching the evening sunsets. The terrace swings round the house providing a shaded area around the back of the property. There is an awning which rolls down so plenty of shade too if you don't want to sit out in the sun.

There is a shed outside where the outdoor furniture are stored.

One can also park the car inside the property lockable metal gates (Although this space is shared). A bleeper is provided for easy opening.

Lots to do on a beachfront South of France holiday 

Valras plage is a family resort largely used by the local French population - it is very family orientated and has a great choice of family entertainment.

You can hire bikes, pedalos, sea canoes. Just 10 minutes' walk away there is a huge choice of restaurants and cafés on the sea front. In the high season there is often an evening show at the open air theatre at the other end of the resort (still within walking distance).

There are a couple of very good 'playgrounds' on the beach including a popular small cable slide.

You can eat fresh oysters, benefit from one of the best fish shops in the region, or have mussels and chips on the beach front.

In Cap d'Agde (15km away)

- Sailing and windsurfing school.
- Scuba diving school.
- Offshore fishing trips. (e.g. Tuna and shark).
- Guided trips in glass-bottomed boats.
- Boat hire: motor boats, sailing dinghy, larger sailing boats, pedalos and canoes.

You can also hire pedalos, canoes and windsurf boards on a big beach about 1km away (but not on the small local beach 70m away), also parapenting, water-skiing, and the "banana-boat" speed boat tow is a must!
