South of France Holiday Villa with 4 bedrooms and heated pool near St Tropez

This spacious and prestigious Provencal holiday villa is set in an enviable position within a quiet domain overlooking woodland. There is easy access to St Tropez, Port Grimaud and the lovely gulf of St Tropez with its 7km stretch of the famous Pampelonne beach, is also just a short drive to the ancient hilltop villages of Gassin, Ramatuelle and Grimaud.

Inside, the villa is very light, airy and tastefully furnished by an interior designer. The villa offers spacious open plan living, dining with a large and very well fitted kitchen. The living areas and kitchen open onto the covered terrace and lovely spacious pool area (the pool can be heated at a supplementary cost).

The villa will comfortably sleep 8 people in four ground floor bedrooms, two bedrooms are located to one side of the house and the other two to the other side giving space and some privacy for two families holidaying together in the South of France.

The grounds are spacious (plenty of space for children to play!) with many mature trees, bushes and flowers. The gardens are well maintained and are abundant with colourful flowers, including wisteria, lavender and mature pins parasols trees. The swimming pool 11m x 5m in size is a lovely place to enjoy the sunny days (the pool can be heated at a supplementary cost).

There are also shaded areas in the grounds of the villa, ideal to settle down with a book and enjoy the peace and quiet. This Villa offers the perfect South of France lifestyle!

Provencal style holiday villa near St Tropez

The holiday accomodation is all on one level.

The main entrance opens into the large and airy kitchen with white fitted units and is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable family holiday.  A Belfast double sink, dishwasher, full oven with four ring hob, extractor fan, microwave and an American fridge/freezer. A large table has seating for six. Wonderful sliding doors open onto the covered dining terrace, bringing the lovely views onto the pool area and gardens inside!

The kitchen leads through to the large spacious living area. The lounge area has comfortable seating with two large settees plus additional seating, a  working fireplace, TV with satellite channels and a DVD player. French windows open onto the villa's grounds and pool area.

A Utility room is accessed from inner hallway, with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.

The ground floor bedrooms are situated 2 on one side of the house and 2 on the other so great for 2 families on holiday together.

Family bathroom shared by bedrooms 3 and 4
Large walk in shower unit, feature bath and double sinks. A wall separates the wc and bidet from the rest of the bathroom.

There are fans in the bedroms (the house walls are thick and if the shutters are kept closed it stays cool).

South of France Villa in great location

The villa and grounds are enclosed with a gateway. On the drive there is parking for one to two cars.

The pool is 11m x 5m and can be heated at a supplementary cost. The area is spacious with a terrace and a decked area.

The grounds are well maintained and full of colourful flowers including wisteria, lavender plus several Pins Parasols trees to name just a few.

Outside the living/ kitchen area there is a large covered terrace with a spacious dining area plus a large electric plancha to enjoy those al fresco summer nights, giving welcome shade in the hot months.

From the terrace, there are eleven steps down to the grounds and pool area.

Activities near to the villa

Situated in an enviable position overlooking woodland just a short drive from Port Grimaud, St Tropez and Ste Maxime.

Gassin lies at the foot of the 'Massif des Maures' in the bay of the 'Gulf of Saint Tropez'. All along the coast there are many fine sandy beaches and coves, Ste Maxime has a marina and pretty cobbled streets where you can find many restaurants, bars and shops selling holiday items and Mediterranean artefacts.

St Tropez is a lovely, lively place to visit with its famous port full of amazing yachts. The town is full of shops including all the famous designer names. There are many restaurants and bars and in high season it is a great place to star spot.

The stunning stretch of coastline between St Maxime and St Tropez boasts breath-taking scenery with sea water of azure blue against the backdrop of the pine clad hills beyond the coast.

From Port Grimaud there is a regular ferry service to St Tropez, Ste Maxime and St Raphael which avoids any road traffic in the months of July and August!

Ste Maxime has a weekly food market on Sunday mornings with food, drink and craft all for sale. St Tropez has a bustling weekly market on Tuesday mornings in the Place des Lices. Ramatuelle has a market on Thursday and Sunday mornings.

There are excellent hiking trails through the wooded hills and shaded river valleys surrounding the area.

Ste Maxime has its own golf club as well as another close by at Beauvallon on the coast road between Ste Maxime and Port Grimaud.

Aqua splash water park is located at the rear of Ste Maxime just a short drive away.

The area is home to some of the best vineyards and wines including the renowned Chateau Minuty. A great opportunity for wine tasting at the local vineyard during your holiday.

Beaches

The beaches of La Croix Valmer - Gigaro and Heraclee Plage, also Debarquement - all approx 15 mins - good parking and easy access, also beach restaurants. Very nice coastal walk from Gigaro - but not suitable for small children.  

Fabulous market in La Croix Valmer on Sundays, well worth a visit and so local to the house!  There is a wine bar called La Grange there that does music nights on a Friday. 

Port Grimaud - large car park, plenty for children to do, beach busier than the above beaches but you can go out on little electric boats and there are many child friendly restaurants within the resort.  There is also an amazing brocante near Port Grimaud at Le Jas des Robert, for those interested in antique hunting.

Pampelonne Beach - approx 15 mins. Long beach with many restaurants, quite expensive but very glamorous, most beach restaurants have parking, some valet parking.  More of a beach to go and see and be seen. Great for special occasions.

Eating out

Gassin - there is a whole terrace of restaurants looking down over the Gulf of St Tropez. Le Pescadou is highly recommended

La Croix Valmer - There are several restaurants here - 2 pizza restaurants that are good for families

Gigaro beach: - Couleurs Jardin ,Wonderful restaurant right on the beach with delicious food - lunch or evening.
