Arrival & Departure

Changeover day is Saturdays. Arrival at 5pm. Depart at 10am. Late arrival (6 - 9pm) possible only by prior arrangement. Please ensure that when you buy your aeroplane ticket, the flight time will allow for arrival before 9pm at the very latest.

Breakages

€1000 cash (or equivalent) on arrival, returned less deductions for any breakages on morning of departure. Please be aware, failure to provide this will mean that you will not be able to gain entry to the property. Proof of travel insurance cover with third party liability must be sent with the balance of payment.

Telephone

No Telephone - Mobile reception is good. Internet Access - Wi-Fi. Neither the Owner nor the Agent can be held responsible for interrupted internet service/slow speed or for loss/disruption of incoming signal for Satellite TV –Sky–Freesat–Apple TV etc. When applicable to the property.

Electric

No electricity included up to 02 June or after 29 September. A meter reading will be taken on arrival and on departure and electricity will be charged at the local rate. Up to 100 kwhrs per week is included in the rent for all other dates, thereafter chargeable at the local rate.

Gas / Oil

There is a fixed standard charge of €160 per week for oil central heating in the winter season or if required at any other time.

Bed Linen & Towels

Bedlinen and towels included. Please bring your own towels for the pool.

Cleaning

End-of-Stay cleaning charge: €120 cash, payable on arrival. Maid service during your stay available on request to be charged at €20 an hour and paid direct to the owner on arrival. End-of-stay cleaning charge is to cover "normal" cleaning throughout the house. However, while you are therefore not expected to hoover and mop everywhere, you are expected to leave kitchen appliances (i.e. oven and fridge), crockery, kitchen utensils, and bathroom appliances clean, and not to leave litter in the garden. If the house is left in an unacceptable state, further monies may be retained from the breakages deposit.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Party Sizes

The owner is entitled to ask you to leave the property without any refund if the number of occupants exceeds 4.

Additional

Fire: This is a region which has a high fire risk. It is forbidden to start fires anywhere in the property grounds. Only light BBQs using the gas BBQ provided. Swimming pool safety: The owner is not responsible for any bodily injury next to or in the swimming pool. Children must be surveyed at all times. As the house is situated quite high on a hill, the water pressure isn't very strong and water should be consumed carefully. It should be noted that the condition of the pool is subject to variations in the weather and therefore no guarantee can be given to the status of the pool on any particular day.
