Arrival & Departure

Changeover day is Saturdays. Arrival at 5pm. Depart at 10am. Late arrival possible only by prior arrangement. Please ensure that when you buy your airplane ticket, the flight time will allow for arrival before 9pm at the very latest.

Breakages

€300 euros cash on arrival, to be returned on day of departure, plus €700 euros (or equivalent) cheque on arrival, returned within 10 days of departure. A local 'taxe de sejour' (visitors tax) of currently 0.80 centimes per person (everyone over the age of 10 years) per night, may be applicable, which will be collected by the owner on arrival.

Telephone

Incoming calls available. You can make outgoing calls by purchasing a calling card at local outlets. Wi-fi internet available, included in rental (please note this can be intermittent).Neither the Owner nor the Agent can be held responsible for interrupted internet service.

Electric

Electricity and heating fuel is included in the rent in high and mid seasons.

Gas / Oil

There is a standard charge of €100 euros per week for the use of oil fired central heating from October through to May.

Bed Linen & Towels

Bedsheets are included in the rental during July and August. Otherwise they are available to rent at €10 per person - advance notice required. Towels are not included at any time and are available at €10 per person (one big bath towel, one beach towel, 2 small bath towels and 2 hand towels) - advance notice required.

Cleaning

End-of-Stay cleaning charge: €150 payable on arrival. The end-of-stay cleaning is to cover "normal" cleaning throughout the house. However, while you are therefore not expected to hoover and mop everywhere, you are expected to leave kitchen appliances (i.e. oven and fridge), crockery, kitchen utensils, and bathroom appliances clean, and not to leave litter in the garden. If the house is left in an unacceptable state, further monies may be retained from the breakages deposit.

Party Sizes

The owner is entitled to ask you to leave the property without any refund if the number of occupants exceeds 10. Between October and March (excluding special holiday periods, i.e. Christmas, New Year, Easter) prices shown are for parties of 8 or less - using 4 bedrooms - supplementary charge per person over 8.

Additional

Fire: This is a region which has a high fire risk. It is forbidden to start fires anywhere in the property grounds. Only light BBQs in the area designated for this purpose. Swimming pool Safety: The owner is not responsible for any bodily injury next to or in the swimming pool. Children must be surveyed at all times. It should be noted that the condition of the pool is subject to variations in the weather and therefore no guarantee can be given to the status of the pool on any particular day.
