This family Owned Chateau has been lovingly restored to its former glory - using high quality materials, elegant furnishings and an abundance of style - it is the perfect location for your Wedding in the South of France.

Everything is designed around Exclusive Use Weddings and the Owners are geared up for all aspects of your Special Day - from tables and chairs to lighting, dance floor and professional kitchen -  all you need is your DJ, Caterer, Photographer, Florist and of course the guests!

The property sleeps 20 people in 10 air conditioned en suite bedrooms, has extensive gardens of 2 hectares, a 300m2 air conditioned Reception room to seat up to 300 and 200 parking spaces!

Located in the heart of Languedoc, near Clermont l'Herault and within easy striking distance of Montpellier and Beziers, this prestigious South of France Chateau is perfectly situated for easy access and exploring the region.

Prices are based on a Residential party of 20 people for one week, with a weekend wedding of up to 300 guests for the wedding day. Packages are also available for weekends (minimum 2 nights) and 3 or 4 night stays - please ask for details.

Superb Chateau in South of France sleeping 20 - ideal for Weddings

This charming authentic Chateau has been renovated with style and panache, 3 years of hard work has paid dividends - it is stunning. The high quality fixtures and fittings, decoration and accessories evoke French chic of a bygone era and go hand in hand with modern requirements.

From the entrance a large hallway welcomes you into the Chateau. The beautifully appointed living space includes 3 Reception rooms - a large living room, a dining room and a huge room with grand piano and Billiard table. Many character features have been retained, there is original parquet flooring everywhere and as is traditional in Chateaux many rooms interconnect.

The living room is light and airy with 3 sets of French doors leading out to the garden. It is comfortably appointed with 3 large sofas, the fireplace, chandelier, wall sconces and attractive wallpaper are easy on the eye.

For convivial dining, there is a table to seat 20 in the dining room.

Accommodation
10 large (25-30m2), air conditioned bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom and wc.

The bedrooms are split as follows:

Ground Floor - 1 double room - wheelchair accessible
First floor - 5 Doubles - two have baths, the remainder have showers
Second floor - 4 twins with showers and the Cinema room

There is the possibiity of small extra beds for Children to be added to the larger bedrooms.

Each bedroom has a TV with Canal+ and Canal Satellite (French TV with a couple of English speaking news channels)

There are a total of 17 wc's in the property - 4 of which are suitable for the disabled.

Wedding - you have the option of an Event outdoors, indoors or a mixture of the two

Outside would be on the terraces - ideal for Cocktails, Brunch, Buffet

Indoor would be in the converted old Chai (wine making area) which is an air conditioned Reception room of 300m2, seating up to 300 people for a formal meal. The walls are attractive open stonework, the beautiful floor is "béton ciré" (waxed concrete) and there are doors out to an enormous terrace with amazing views. This room has teccy gizmos, such as video projector with big screen, lighting, CD, MP3, USB, Wi-Fi - all the Best Man needs to enhance his speech!

The Owners are also able to offer a package to include round tables for guests, with Napoleon III style oak chairs, rectangular tables for food service, a dance floor and lighting. Please ask for prices based on 20 residents and your invited guest numbers - Weekends (2 nights), 3 or 4 nights and weekly rentals are available.

Idyllic South of France setting in 2 hectares of private Parc

The splendid location is what dreams are made of - a long driveway leading to a turning circle delivering you to Chateau entrance, a backdrop of 2 hectares of private Parc, with 3000m2 of lawn - perfect for photo opportunities!

Numerous terraces of over 500m2 around the Chateau afford stunning views across the South of France countryside and vineyards, together with lots of casual seating opportunities. The huge BBQ has been incorporated into an original stone plinth and has a pergola for shade. There is a table for 20 to eat together close by - al fresco dining at its best.

There is also a ramp for disabled access to reach the terraces.

Close to the Chateau is the 15m x 6m salt water pool which is fenced and gated (which is inaccessible the day of a Wedding for security). The pool has Roman steps for easy access and parasols and sun loungers on the pool terrace.

Mature trees and Mediterranean planting offer natural shade, manicured lawns, hedges and attractive statues and pots enhance this stylish property - an oasis of tranquility, your own little piece of heaven.

For the more energetic amongst you there is a Boules Piste for that quintessentially French sport of Petanque or why not try your hand in the Billiard Room!

All the pathways are suitable for wheelchair access.

Clermont l'Herault, a good sized town, is apprx 4km, where there is a varied selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and accommodation, together with a big market on a Wednesday around the Church.

Pezenas - apprx 20km - a charming market town with a beautiful medieval and Renaissance centre with narrow winding streets, and many galleries and working craft shops like glass blowers, jewellers. Plenty of Antique shops to stroll around, several good restaurants and a colourful market on Saturday mornings.

Lac du Salagou apprx 10km - a Lake surrounded by spectacular red volcanic hills for watersports and swimming

Beziers apprx 50km Large market town, renowned for its colourful 'Feria' in August (street music, carnival, bull-fights).

Nearby is Cirque de Mourèze, an extraordinary 'chaos' of dolomitic towers and ravines.

St Guilhem-le-Desert apprx 30km. Beautiful medieval village and abbey in dramatic gorge landscape.

Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc is worth a visit as are the mountains and rocky gorges of the Caroux mountains. Great canoeing on the river Orb.

Montpellier apprx 51km. Attractive university town.

Carcassonne apprx 134km. Largest fortified medieval town. A UNESCO site.

Nimes apprx 110km. Roman temple and amphitheatre.
