It has been lovingly restored with style and panache into luxury holiday accommodation, combining the traditional with modern, topped off with elegant fixtures and fittings throughout.

With 5 beautifully appointed air conditioned bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large living space, heated pool, fabulous inner courtyard and lovely garden it offers that great balance of indoor/outdoor living at its best.

Located a stone's throw from the Luberon National Park, close to Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille it is ideally located for you to explore all the South of France region has to offer. Or just chill out by the pool - the choice is yours!

Accommodation Details

South of France Holiday Villa to sleep 11

The entrance hall, with traditional tiled floor, leads you into this beautifully renovated, stylish property with stairs to the first floor and door to the living space. The first floor houses the Entertainment room and Bedrooms 4 and 5.

Ground Floor:

The 50m2 living space is light, airy and spacious with a traditional fireplace centrepiece, whitewashed ceiling beams and a dining area. A large L shaped sofa, occasional chair and good sized footstools provide plenty of seating - a lovely space to unwind.

The living room bay window gives access to the inner courtyard and from there you can access the garden and pool.

The 25m2 kitchen combines traditional and modern and is well equipped with dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, toaster and Nespresso machine, plus a dining table. The kitchen is adjacent to the entrance hall (no direct access from the kitchen to the courtyard/pool).

On the first floor the Entertainment room has something for all the family - billiard table, TV and piano.

If you prefer something a little quieter the Reading room, with sofas and a fridge, is located in the 20m2 pool house in the garden and has over 300 books!

A laundry room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment.

Suite on first floor accessed from stairs in the kitchen:

Bedroom 1 - 40m2 with king size bed (180x200cm), en suite with bath, shower, 2 wash hand basins and wc, desk, wardrobe, chill out area and private terrace with a staircase for direct access to the garden and pool. Air conditioning. 

Suite on second floor accessed from stairs in the Entertainment room on first floor:

Bedroom 2 - 40m2 with king size bed (180x200cm), en suite with shower, 2 wash hand basins and wc, desk, wardrobe, armchairs and chill area. Air conditioning. 

Ground floor (a private stone house facing the pool):         

Bedroom 3 - 20m2 with queen size bed (160x200cm) en suite with shower, wash hand basin and wc, wardrobe. Air conditioning.

First Floor accessed by stairs from entrance hall:

Bedroom 4 - 20m2 with queen size bed (160x200cm) and 1 single bed (90x200cm), dresser and wardrobe. Air conditioning. 

Bedroom 5 - 15m2 with king size bed (180x200cm) that can be separated into 2 single beds (90x200cm), dresser and wardrobe. Air conditioning. 

Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5 share a bathroom with a shower, 2 wash hand basins and a separate wc.

Sofa bed in the Reading room (best suited to a guest staying 1 or 2 nights as no air conditioning), for a full week there would be a supplementary charge.

Outside Details

South of France  Holiday Villa with attractive garden

A delightful landscaped garden of 800m2 is peaceful, well maintained and planted out with Olive trees, Roses and many Mediterranean shrubs amongst the paved, gravel and grass areas.

The L shaped pool - 8m x 5m x 1.85m - is heated from beginning of April to early October. It has a jet stream, Roman steps for easy access and an infrared alarm. There is a solar shower too.

Throughout the garden and around the pool take your pick from numerous deck chairs, wrought iron tables, sun loungers and parasols offering a choice of sun and shade.

An attractive inner courtyard of 200m2, with a fountain, is the perfect spot for al fresco meals and tranquil balmy evenings outdoors. There is a dining table seating 10-12 and a built in charcoal BBQ both under a covered area which has spotlights for illumination after dark - a lovely ambience at night.

South of France  Rental Property in a great location

The village is just 300mts walk with shops and restaurants - bread and croissant first on the list!

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - approx 10km famous for its numerous Antique shops, plus boutiques, restaurants and cafes - perfect for browsing and people watching. Golf course too.

Gordes - approx 12km - one of Provence's most beautiful villages with a Renaissance château, primitive beehive-shaped drystone houses, a museum devoted to the contemporary painter Vasarély and nearby is a neolithic settlement of Bories. 

Fontaine de Vaucluse - approx 10km source of the river Sorgue that rises at the foot of spectacular, limestone cliffs. The home of Petrach. 

Dont' miss Bonnieux, Lacoste, Menerbes and Lourmarin 

Roussillon - approx 20km, is situated on a hill surrounded by ochre cliffs and you can follow the trail through the Colorado Provençal towards the village of Rustrel.

Cavaillon - approx 7km - famous for its melons and a great Provençal market is about 20 minutes away.

Avignon - approx 30km is not to be missed! Le Pont, Palais des Papes and of course the Theatre Festival

Aix-en-Provence - approx 50km - Cezanne's hometown

Marseille - approx 1 hr - the old town of Le Vieux Port for Bouillabaisse!

Our villa in Robion was superb. Great location, 1 hour north of Marseille, 10 mins to the beautiful villages of Gordes, Menerbes and Isle sur la Sorgue. Beautiful old farm buildings tastefully renovated. Pool was heated and a great size for all our family to enjoy. Our host,  could not have been more helpful and gave us tips for local markets and the best boulangerie which was a 5mins walk. We would all highly recommend this villa.
