Booking Conditions [VR018A]

Arrival & Departure

Changeover day is Saturdays. Arrival at 4pm. Depart at 10am. Late arrival (6 - 9pm) possible only by prior arrangement. Please ensure that when you buy your aeroplane ticket, the flight time will allow for arrival before 9pm at the very latest.

Breakages

A Security Deposit of £850 GBP or 1000€ is to be transferred to the Owners nominated account 2 weeks prior to arrival, returned within 3 weeks of departure less any agreed deductions for breakages, visitors tax, air conditioning supplement and end of stay cleaning fee. The Owner will contact you direct to arrange this, please ensure you give your Bank Details for the return transfer.

Telephone

Wi-Fi is available. Neither the Owner nor the Agent can be held responsible for interrupted internet service/slow speed or for loss/disruption of incoming signal for Satellite TV-Sky–Freesat–Newtflix-Apple TV etc., when applicable to the property.

Electric

Included, apart from meter readings that will be taken on arrival and departure for the use of the air conditioning with the agreed final sum being deducted from the Security Deposit before its return.

Gas / Oil

Bed Linen & Towels

Bed Linen, towels and beach towels are included in the rental. For 2 week or more bookings a cleaning lady is charged at €90 Euro per session of 3 hours to clean with no bed changing or €150 Euro for a 5 hour clean with linen change during the middle week. Towels to be laundered by guests using the washing machine.

Cleaning

End-of-Stay cleaning charge: €360 Euro deducted from the Security Deposit before its return. Extra cleaning can be arranged with advance notice -cash direct to the Cleaner. End-of-stay cleaning charge is to cover "normal" cleaning throughout the house. However, while you are therefore not expected to hoover and mop everywhere, you are expected to leave kitchen appliances (i.e. oven and fridge), crockery, kitchen utensils, and bathroom appliances clean, and not to leave litter in the garden. If the house is left in an unacceptable state, further monies may be retained from the security deposit.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Party Sizes

The owner is entitled to ask you to leave the property without any refund if the number of occupants exceeds 8 (ideally suited to 6 adults and 2 children over 5 years of age). The rent is for up to 8 people. Children under the age of 5 must be well supervised as there is a drop from the terrace to the beach below.

Additional

Fire: This is a region which has a high fire risk. It is forbidden to start fires anywhere in the property grounds. Only light BBQs in the area designated for this purpose. Swimming pool Safety: The owner is not responsible for any bodily injury next to or in the swimming pool. Children must be surveyed at all times. It should be noted that the condition of the pool is subject to variations in the weather and therefore no guarantee can be given to the status of the pool on any particular day.
