What a fabulous villa! We had a fantastic week here, with lovely weather and an excellent location. The rooms were well appointed and the air-conditioning very welcome! We spent most of our time by the pool. When we did bother to venture out, we did a 3 hour Kayak in Sete and a day at Aqualand Cap d'Agde - worth a visit. Hi Sandy, I spent some time at Maison Etoile at the end of July and we had a fabulous time, it was really lovely to meet you too.
Maison Etoile is perfect for big families of all generations. All the rooms are beautifully presented, spacious and peaceful. The house has so many different areas to entertain where you can have your own space, relax quietly with a book, cook and talk to your friends or chill out in the sun room with a cold glass of rose and take a dip in the swimming pool. Everyone comes together in the evening around the table to chat and if you feel like it you can retire upstairs to the television area for a good film.
Pouzolles is such a pretty village. I loved going to the boulangerie every day for fresh pastries and occasionally sat out with a coffee and some evenings they do take away pizzas.
There's a tree lined park opposite the house where you can play petanque and often there's a party there where all the village is invited and it's time to dance! The supermarket is 10 minutes drive away but there's also a small grocery store in Pouzolles for basic items.
This was our 3rd year; the family is growing and changing but Maison Etoile is always accommodating.
The villa was fabulous, it was just as described, well equipped, comfortable and spacious. The location is very peaceful with beautiful views and located in an area that made it easy to visit many of the nearby places on our to do list. A great host, very friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous stay at Villa Chenet, very spacious inside although we spent most of the time either in the pool or beside it! Plenty of shade or sunshine if you prefer. The owner left suncream, insect repellent and lots of ice packs/wine coolers in the freezer. One evening we walked to the little restaurant on the nearby campsite and had an excellent meal which was also great value.
This wonderful property is paradise! Beautiful , spacious and well fitted house, the pool is awesome at any time of the day, plus it's close to some of the prettiest beaches of the French Riviera ( Cabasson, L'Estagnol). Walking distance to a superb Provencal village. What else can you ask for!

The pool was a delight, we enjoyed the tennis court - but the location of the villa, a genuine 10 minute walk from the centre of Pézenas with its wide selections of shops and restaurants and only 30 mins drive from Cap D’Agde and 45 from Sete’s beaches, means there is something that everyone will enjoy.
We had a wonderful holiday in the Chateau. Paul and Julie went out of their way to be helpful. The house was brilliantly equipped and the pool area has lots of sun beds, an excellent barbecue and a comfortable seating area. In addition to the games room, there were toys and games for the children both for the pool and indoors. Nevian is a very small friendly village and having a bar-restaurant, excellent butcher/grocer (who also sold bread and croissants) and v small basic supermarket right on our doorstep was absolutely ideal. The countryside around is pretty and not over-touristy; Narbonne is an attractive town with wonderful indoor food market (though rather disappointing outside market) and the beach at Gruissan is huge and very clean and, outside the highest season, not too crowded. All in all we had a great time - A perfect place for a big family party with space for everyone and lots of little corners if you need a bit of peace! August 2024

We spent one lovely week in May in Fouscais, Clermont-l´Hérault. The big farmhouse is on the relaxing countryside and we rented the main house and also the poolhouse as we were 11 persons. The houses were perfect for us and had all that we needed. The pool area is beautiful and clean with all amenities you need. The beds are comfortable and all the rooms very spacious. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and gathering the family and friends. Outdoor there is plenty of places to relax and enjoy the lovely view and the vineyards nearby. The host couple are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a relaxing week.
