The beach of Cupabia has a beach bar and there is also a restaurant in the camping area which is next to the beach.

There are 1 pizerria (U San Matteu) and one restaurant (U San Petru) in Serra-di-Ferro which is less than 1km so it’s in a walking distance

The pizzas are excellent.

In front there is the San Petru Restaurant offering grilled meats and once a week the "veal à la broche”, this is the veal of this area and only this area. This restaurant has concerts with traditionnal Corsican singers once or twice a week

There are other restaurants in Porto Pollo (3,5km /5 min), then in Olmetto (7/8 km 10/15 min) and in Propriano. 20 km 20/25 min.)

There is a traditional Corsican restaurant in Calvese/Solacarro (after Filitosa, the menhirs…) a superb wild area, about 20/25 min drive, there are also Corsican singers

This part of Corsica is more Corsica than the Porto-Vecchio area and Sartène (34 km from the villa) is considered as ‚"the most Corsican of Corsican towns”

It is only a 1 hour drive south to Ajaccio and 20 minutes north to Propriano The house is located in a beautiful, peaceful, preserved environment close to the beautiful sandy beaches of Cupabia, Porto-Pollo, Olmeto.

This region is known as the Sartenais-Valinco-Taravo.

The Gulf of Valinco, the valley of the Taravo and the town of Sartène and its surroundings are, in addition to their beauty, particularly rich in history, culture, traditions and local productions (farms, wines, olives, cork).

Ajaccio is one hour from the villa.

Air Corsica - Saturday flight from Stansted to Figari direct. 
British Airways to Bastia (1 connection)

Alternatively, fly from the UK to Paris, Nice or Marseille with one of the budget airlines (Easyjet, Ryanair etc), and then change to one of the local shuttle flights to Figari (there are several every day) with Air Corsica or Air France.
