Villa La Voile is wonderful in almost every way. We never tired of the view over the small bay below us and watching the sun rise each morning without the need to leave our bed was just magical. Collioure is a delightful, very friendly, town, but in the Summer it gets very crowded. One of the advantages of Villa La Voile is that you don’t need a car – you can walk into the town and there are a number of small local shops to provide all you need. The villa itself is a wonderful space in which to live with some excellent design features. The integration of the internal and external living spaces and the presence of the infinity pool result in everyone being able to make the most of each day. Above all, the villa is a ‘home’ and it feels like it. All 10 of our party asked when we would be able to return and rated it 11/10!Laurie, South France Villas Client, August 2014
We had a wonderful two-week holiday at Les Chenes Verts. The villa is fantastic, so well-equipped and beautifully appointed. The pool area and the gardens are stunning. For us, the villa scored very highly in terms of the quality and quantity of the furnishings, kitchen equipment, loungers, barbecue etc. We also really appreciated all the smaller things and general attention to detail such as hand soap and tissues in each room, plenty of loo roll (!), crossword puzzles...the list goes on. It felt as is if a great deal of thought had gone into everything, and that certainly made our holiday a relaxing and enjoyable one. We really enjoyed visiting places nearby including Grasse, old Mougins, Valbonne and Monaco (by train).Thanks also the on-site 'gardiens', who were always there to help if needed. We've had an idyllic holiday - perfect for entertaining 3 yr olds to 40-50 somethings! The pool was lovely and we used it every day. We found you as a result of a recommendation and the house has managed to absorb all of us seamlessly. I'm (not) ashamed to say that the biggest decision on our weeks here have been which side of the pool to sit on and which well chosen Provencale Rose to drink next! Every good thing has an end (WHY?) and we are all back in UK, after a wonderful short week in your exquisite villa, fantastically relaxed after some tough months...and before 3 days in Marrakech to prepare our youngest daughter's wedding there, in November. Mission accomplie.
And yes, as we read and wrote in your guest book, the villa is perfect and your staff, all four of them, are utterly welcoming and thoughtful, really attentive to any of our desires. A special team indeed. I had a birthday (and wedding anniversary) there, by fluke, and they covered the table with flowers, gave me a dress (lovely!) and a banquet for us all, that fell on our last evening there, hamdullillah...
Discreet and kind Mohammed, talented and obliging Fatima, smiling and totally charming Souad, and, bien sur, ubiquitous Mustapha, looking after us extra well.
All of us speak French (and one of us Arabic) so it was an extra joy for us, and hopefully for them too.
We had a very happy stay, recharging our batteries (delighted at the capricious WIFI, ha ha) and taking in the peace, birdsongs, beauty and variety of the garden, sense of TIME passing slowly...
The only "work" was to...try many Moroccan wines, "for the wedding" !!

We chose this apartment based on the lovely photographs. However in reality, it exceeded expectations, with its stunning views of the sea and stylish interior. It is in a charming old building with well kept gardens and pool. My husband and I with our two daughters enjoyed the idyllic setting close to great beaches, food markets and jet sking! August is a difficult month to move around, so getting the ferry to St. Tropez is ideal. My family spent a week at this beautiful apartment. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, which included my 11 year old daughter and 15 year old son. Sitting on the balcony and eating croissants in the morning watching the sun sparkle over the Mediterranean seemed like a scene out of a movie! We just kept smiling and asking, how did we get so lucky to find such a beautiful place? The apartment had everything we needed for our week and was conveniently located to the most beautiful beaches, lovely cafes and shopping in Ste Maxime. Day trips to Grimaud and St. Tropez were easy too. The week was so perfect, it still doesn't seem real. We will certainly be back!Alissa F, July 2013
We had such a perfect stay that we have already reserved a week next year. Waking up to blue skies over the bay, a view of the boats and coffee with a croissant was truly heavenly. The flat was clean and well equipped. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a welcome alternative to the beach. The town of Ste. Maxime is charming with great restaurants and markets. This is an exceptional and a very special place on the edge of Atlantic Ocean bay. What is special about this place? The answer is simple – everything!
The location, where ocean waters licking the stairs of the Villa are very warm and friendly. The sand is ideal for building beautiful castles by children and their parents. The air is so stunning so one can materially feel it. We were sleeping for more than 9 hours and could not get up as if we took sleeping drugs.
The house has been restored by current owners with a great love and taste. Maintaining the traditional feel with a slight oriental touch in design it has all contemporary features for the comfort living. One can’t forget the warmth of the sun sitting on the dinner table on the open terrace.
The garden, where you can not only enjoy the beauty of grass and trees, but can gather fresh vegetables for your lunch.
The swimming pool with its gentle natural water has surprised all of us. Its moisturizing effect is easily compared with the best French body cream.
Food – this is something what would be difficult to describe as none of the adjectives exist to express it. Maybe just one – simply stunning French cuisine. We had a pleasure of being taking care by three chefs and all of them are just unforgettable.
And last, but not least the Villa team – very friendly, helpful, ready to assist at all times. Of course the pearl of the team is its manager without whom our stay could not be as memorable as it turned out.
This is a place where you want to come again and again!

A magical, musical, memorable experience makes it difficult to find adequate words to relate our feelings about this sunny, enchanting wonderland. It's the picturesque aura surrounding our stay that remains in our vision, and the kind generosity of the villa's owner that brings songs to our days. We think the key element is the presence of John whose loving goodness radiates throughout his exceptional home, right into the hearts of those who dwell within. Each day we looked forward to seeing his smiling, animated face, and on those rare occasions when he didn't come by, it felt like a 'loss.' The Villa is immaculate, the closeby villages charming and the total ambiance one of a dreamy nature. We joined our daughter and her family halfway through their stay, having one of the loveliest times of our life..........as we did last year at the same time. Walking onto the veranda early in the morning is a breathtaking experience, one which we repeated time and again with greater awe each time. It was a complete, joyful time.
