The house, location, accommodations are super. Everything inside is perfect. But the best was to meet John! He is a very very nice person always ready to help us and for sure will become our friend for ever. We are very happy with our choice and strongly recommend Villa Eze for future guests. Carlos, January 2014
A magical, musical, memorable experience makes it difficult to find adequate words to relate our feelings about this sunny, enchanting wonderland. It's the picturesque aura surrounding our stay that remains in our vision, and the kind generosity of the villa's owner that brings songs to our days. We think the key element is the presence of John whose loving goodness radiates throughout his exceptional home, right into the hearts of those who dwell within. Each day we looked forward to seeing his smiling, animated face, and on those rare occasions when he didn't come by, it felt like a 'loss.' The Villa is immaculate, the closeby villages charming and the total ambiance one of a dreamy nature. We joined our daughter and her family halfway through their stay, having one of the loveliest times of our life..........as we did last year at the same time. Walking onto the veranda early in the morning is a breathtaking experience, one which we repeated time and again with greater awe each time. It was a complete, joyful time. We are grateful for having been a part of this splendid area of the world, if only for a brief interlude. Our sincere thank you. Nancy and Ron Grigsby
We were met by the owner who invited us in, showed us around and then poured us wine and cooked our first meal while we relaxed. If only every experience in life excelled like this. The pictures of the Villa did not lie - It was actually more beautiful then i could have imagined. Perfect vacation, we will be back next year!!! Roger, August 2013
Thank you for a lovely week in you beautiful villa. Everything was as we expected on arrival and you made us feel very welcome. The villa was ideally situated for visits to Eze Village, Beaulieu, La Turbie and Monaco. We had 2 fabulous candle lit dinners with live music and great food. at Anjouna Beach restaurant just below us (thank you for the recommendation) The view from the villa was beautiful and you helpfulness made our week very relaxing. The pool is fantastic! Thank you again and hope to see you next year. Kind regards, A guest, 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was great and the owners were very accommodating. We had a lot of young children with us and it suited our needs well. We would definitely recommend it. Regards, Jim, South France Villas Client, July 2013
From the Guest Book:
Our family of four (my husband and I and two single adult sons) stayed at the villa for 11 days at the beginning of October, 2013. Our stay there was perfect. The villa was amazing. It was comfortable, with all the amenities of home and had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. It was conveniently located, with a train station and bus stop at the bottom of the road. John, our keyholder, was our first connection to our South France vacation and to say he enhanced our stay, would be an understatement. I have not met a more accommodating and friendly person. Nothing was too much trouble for him in making our stay memorable. We will definitely recommend this amazing villa to our family and friends, and would love to visit again. Thank you for sharing your lovely vacation home with us! We have spent an amazing 11 days in this mafnificent villa. Our family enjoyed every moment in this magical location and hope to return for more pleasure. Thank you, John, for your most generous hospitality. You were always there to attend to our every need. Sincerely,The Ducharmes from Canada, October 2013
A perfect place to rest and recover after 5 hard days of rowing 200km of the Canal du Midi.
It’s location was perfect… completely private, but close enough to Beziers for when we wanted to shop, or close enough to the smaller villages to bike to for our fresh croissants in the morning! The Owner was a pleasure to deal with, and her son very obliging. He arranged maxi taxis for the 14 of us to go to the night market at Pezenas. Thanks for your help in organising the Villa. It really was the perfect ending to celebrate our achievement on the Canal! Regards,Cindy, WakaTui Rowing, New Zealand, South France Villas Clients
Had a very good time at La Grange. The house is lovely and large, and having large ensuites in all the bedrooms is very convenient. The facilities and utensils in the house are excellent. The outside area and pool are very well maintained and ideal for sitting outside and having a splash in the pool. Very handy having the grocers, bar and restaurants just up the road.Paul, September 2013

...Had a wonderful hot and sunny week. House fabulous, short of nothing. Garden Swing very impressive and have instructions to build one in the garden at home for my wife.....we will return ... Mr and Mrs Fisher, August 2013
We have truly had a holiday, (even with two young children!)...Thank You. The house and surrounding area are wonderful, so homely, comfortable and beautiful. We have truly appreciated your attention to detail. Thank you again for arranging our sons birthday cake, it was delicious. Was an added bonus our son learned to swim this week too ! Thanks for everything - we'll definitely be back !!! Mr and Mrs Speed August 2013
...A great week, you really have thought of everything. Many thanks to you and your Property Manager. Ian, June 2013
We had a great time and loved the villa. Places of interest we particularly enjoyed - Tourettes-sur-Loup, St Paul de Vence, Juan-les-Pins, Antibes. Vence is wonderful - great restaurants - drive in and leave your car at the swimming pool car park overnight as parking is free. Villa fantastic, the view is incredible, very peaceful and relaxing. The Owners are very helpful - a fantastic holiday. Beware you will struggle to find parking in Juan-les-Pins and if you follow everybody else by parking on the street you will get ticketed! If going to the football in Monaco give yourself a good 3 hours to get there unless you are happy to pay €61 for half a match! It's such a nice place, the sea is warm, the water parks really fun and it is so sunny - I don't want to leave. I hope everyone after us has a nice holiday. Geraldine and party, August , From the Guest Book
Henry's Bar in Vence is a friendly bar. In Vence there are plenty of nice shops and the Old Town is lovely. The No. 400 or No. 94 bus take you into Nice and is very cheap. keep your eye on the times the shops open and close as we found the opening timings a little awkward. We have had a lovely time and the villa is lovely and it is a very quiet area. Barbara and Brian, June , From the Guest Book
Now that we are home, I long to be back there again” Beautiful location in the hills outside Cannes which is a 20 minute drive away along mountain roads or motorway. Frejus a little closer. Local village is very peaceful with a chemist, some restaurants, a boulangerie and small grocery store. We usually shopped in Carrefour in Frejus. The house is approached by a narrow concrete road and is on a hillside. It is beautifully maintained and well organised house. The owners have thought of everything and helpful cards around the house guide you. The house is 3 bedded with 2 downstairs rooms that both open open out in to the pool and garden. Both are ensuite. The main living room also opens on to same. The house is itself is small, but perfectly adequate. Upstairs an ensuite bedroom with doors that open on to a small veranda, perfect for reading and star gazing. We spent hours and days in the pool. The gardens are not grassed (as is the norm in southern france) except at the side. There is a lovely 4 seater hammock, perfect for drinks in the garden. We didn't use the hot tub as it was hot enough outside. All mod cons included - nothing was missing - including full Sky TV and Wifi. Lovely food in the fridge on arrival thanks to Audrey who cares for the property. We had an amazing 2 weeks there and can not recommend it highly enough. Probably not suited to very small children who will wander as on a steep hillside or those of limited mobility, but for everyone else - magic. David, August 2013
I have had the wonderful opportunity of visiting the South of France a few times over my life. This time, I went with two girlfriends to plan my wedding. My fiance and I decided to get married in France and were nervous about how to plan a French wedding from the States. My girlfriends and I decided to stay at the beautiful Villa Eze. This was the best decision I could have made! I am happy to say that I will now be having my wedding ceremony at the Villa Eze, it is that beautiful! With the beautiful view, spacious villa, perfectly placed in every way! How could I not have my wedding here?! I will be having about 100 guests and will be getting married out on the veranda. The manager of the Villa Eze made me even more excited to get married. He offered incredible ideas, put me in contact with florists in the area, and helped me and my girlfriends map out the event from start to finish. He is one of the most genuine, helpful, kind, and at-your-service managers I have ever worked with. I will ONLY be staying at the Villa Eze during my trips to the South of France from now on. I would suggest to anyone interested to stay at the Villa Eze. You will have the most incredible trip and have memories for a lifetime. Sandra, July 2013
Our one week stay at Maison Mimosa, Roquebrun in July was absolutely fantastic. We were a two-family party of 9, with offspring ranging in age from 14 to 23, and parents of appropriate ages! Everybody had a wonderful time.
We are all very keen wild swimmers and with children who would want some or lots of independence, we had deliberately chosen a house right on a river and right in a village. Good decision. We had dreamy mornings and evenings cooling off and swimming in the crystal clear water of the River Orb against the gentle current right outside the house and also really enjoyed being in the really spacious at atmospheric house looking at the fantastic views of the bridge and mountains beyond and also of life on the other side of the river where happy people and their dogs spend the day mucking about in the river from the large natural river beach. The river is safe and you can happily let children from 12 years and up paddle and swim on their own.
In the house there is an indoor pool and sauna plus games room with table tennis table and bar in the cellar and the children enjoyed the swimming pool as a novelty a couple of times but the weather was so good and the river so beautiful that it was very under used. However, I can imagine that these facilities might be wonderful to have mid-winter or when the weather isn’t great.
Roquebrun is as charming as any tourist website tells you but it feels properly lived-in and real and there is obviously a lot going on. The Mediterranean Garden right above the village is beautiful and testament to a lively community as it is run mainly by volunteers and there was a really well attended village party on our last night. We had a couple of great meals out in Roquebrun; Le Petit Nice does really good pizzas and the relatively new, I think, Cave de St Martin tapas bar (tapas bar as a description doesn’t really do the place justice I don’t think) was really superb and is making my mouth water just thinking about the meal we had there. Everything fresh, everything melt-in-the-mouth delicious, every ingredient top quality and everything seasonal – plus great wine. We came back to England enthused with the peach, tomato and basil salad we had there and I have served what I hope is a not-too-bad imitation of it four times since being home! Both Le Petit Nice and the Cave St Martin have fantastically friendly and helpful staff and wonderful views and it was such a treat being able to walk to both restaurants in less than 5 minutes.
Out of Roquebrun we spent a great day jumping into and swimming in the beautiful deep clearwater pools in the Gorge d’Heric and another day kayaking 10 and 15km back to Roquebrun., where some of our party saw an otter and all of us loved the scenery and peace and quiet (except when negotiating a rapid!). Also spent a day at the Lac de Salagou, an amazingly atmospheric damn lake surrounded by martian-like red sand and some really interesting villages and natural rock formations. The journey cross country to Salagou was beautiful too and a reminder of just how unpopulated and unspoilt this part of France is.
Shopping was easy, with a village shop and a basic but comprehensive selection of fresh bread plus tinned and fresh food and drinks in Roquebrun plus a fairly basic twice-weekly market, and if you needed to do a big shop, the big street market (weekly? twice-weekly?) and supermarket in St Chinian were a pleasant 15 minute drive away. And of course there’s a vineyard round every corner……..
We had to do an airport run to Montpelier near the end of the week and it was extremely hot so we combined it with a trip to the beach on La Corniche, just outside Sete. We had a good swim in some great waves and it was perfect for a quick cool-off and to dip into the Med quickly. Easy parking and a nice freshwater shower was available. But I know there are better beaches in Languedoc and, given a choice, I wouldn’t have moved from the river Orb!
The South France Villas team were wonderful. Helped with travel arrangements, gave great advice and were generally as helpful as they could possibly have been. The fact that all their staff have lived in the area for a very long combined time really shows as they have brilliant local contacts and can answer almost any question you put to them. Thankyou all very much for a wonderful holiday. Phyllida, South France Villas Client, 20-27 July 2013
We had indeed a very beautiful vacation at Fontaine de Domaine de Mas. It is a wonderful place with comfortable houses and a picturesque garden and facilities (pool, tennis, etc.) No doubt that the kind and friendly attention and assistance of the administrator, did contribute a lot to the total picture.Josef, August 2013
From the Guest Book:
True to its name, this villa really is the accommodation with the best view and services of Eze. Tucked up into the hill, this effortlessly perfect villa is the ideal escape. I traveled to southern France from New York on vacation with friends and it was recommended to me that we stay in Eze (easily the town with the most charm in entirety of Cote d'Azur). And the villa was everything we had hoped for and more. We enjoyed waking up each morning with a view that took our breath away, the short and convenient walk to the beach, lounging by the infinity pool and cocktails on the patio. Each of the villa's sweeping views, from the master bedroom, to the living and the infinity pool are something to be marvelled. The villa is perfectly equipped with spacious and comfortable sleeping arrangements. There were only 3 of us but it could easily accommodate up to 7! The house manager was the LOVELIEST man, always willing to offer sage advice on the best places to go, what to see and where to get the perfect rotisserie chicken. The only downside of villa is that because the villa is so perfectly located, built and equipped, you may never leave and see the rest of the Cote d'Azur! Thank you!! Maddie, August 2013
I’ll want to tell you that we enjoyed the holiday a lot! The house was perfect, everything was ok, we had a beautiful view. The owners off the house are really very kind people. Everything went well. They have helped us to let us know where the beautiful spots are! We liked everything a lot! Also we want to thank your company for the professional help! You have gave us also very importent information. Thanks for the many e-mails! Certainly we will book again with your company! Best regards!Marina, South France Villas Client, July 2013
Just to let you know, we had a lovely week at the villa and thanks to Lili and her daughter we had a great time out each night. thanks again for all your help,G.Curry, South France Villas Client, July 2013
We rented Villa Cassis at the end of May for a 2-week period. It is a beautiful villa with all the comforts one could wish for. It is perfectly located and it was a pleasure to return to Villa Cassis after a day of sightseeing and relax in this quiet and idyllic setting. Many thanks to South of France Villas for their professionalism and always pleasant agents: it made all the difference! Kimiko, South France Villas Client, May
The villa was a perfect destination for us. We loved that it was tucked into the hills and so close to such a lovely little village (Gattieres) offering great dining, convenient food shopping and kind people. It was also very easy to get to Nice itself and we were able to explore a lot of the beautiful surrounding villages. The house itself was in wonderful condition and was very comfortable, offering all of the amenities of home. The pool area had beautiful views as did the outdoor dining area. We really enjoyed cooking 'a la Plancha' as well! We will definitely be returning to Villa Minou in the future. We had a wonderful time. Shannon and Michael
We had a fabulous time in the South of France at the end of 2012, thanks to a large degree to the team at South France Villas, mainly Nicky, who quickly addressed all our queries and made sure everything was crystal clear before we arrived. We chose to stay at Maison Mimosa in Roquebrun and it turned out to be a great decision: in our party of 6 everyone could have their own bedroom and ensuite bathroom and this contributed greatly to a sense of harmony. Moreover, the view from the balconies on the second floor onto the river are breathtaking, and as Roquebrun has its own microclimate (which has earned it the nickname 'petit nice') the sun was almost always shining and it was relatively warm for the time of year. In the lower part of the house there's an indoor swimming pool and sauna - all beautifully laid out and recently installed. The owner also kindly had firewood and a table tennis table sent to the house while we were there, which was much appreciated. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the living room very cosy. The Owner and her local agent, were extremely kind and helpful and provided us with key information about location and directions, as well as tips on the local region and restaurants, as did the South France Villas team. Roquebrun is a little off the beaten track, but the local food (you must visit the local restaurant 'Le Petit Nice' at least 6 times, as did we - it is famous in the region and very well-priced) and wine and gorgeous medieval villages and towns more than make up for it. I would recommend this property to families with older children (especially in summer, when there's more to do on the river). The region is gorgeous and relatively unspoilt - we can't wait to go back.Nicola Gardner, December 2012

Thanks for a wonderful staying and a good hospitality. The house was nice, the pool was nice and cooling in the heat, so was a trip to a vineyard and tasted good wine. We are now driving back to Norway - 2-3 days in the car. Thanks for this time. Merci! Family Flafekval, August

The region is gorgeous and relatively unspoilt - we can't wait to go back. Nicola Gardner, December 2012
From the Guest Book:
Thanks for a wonderful staying and a good hospitality. The house was nice, the pool was nice and cooling in the heat, so was a trip to a vineyard and tasted good wine. We are now driving back to Norway - 2-3 days in the car. Thanks for this time. Merci! Family Flafekval, August
