This is truly a wonderful house in a beautiful location in the magical village of Collioure! The house is very beautifully decorated with more high end appliances and gadgets that you can imagine finding in a holiday rental. Even though the decorations may be a bit too modern for our taste it still felt like home, which is what we’d hoped to find especially since we were staying for 3 weeks and could have stayed forever! While being on vacation we still had some work to do and sitting on the terrace overlooking the pool and gazing out over the hills didn’t make it a hardship at all! The owners were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We loved the area as well and could move there! The only word we can find for this house is: Wow! Just wow! We’ll definitely look through your website again for next year’s holiday. Thank you once again for an outstanding service and hopefully we’ll be in contact again for next year’s France fix! Our adult children enjoyed the pool every day with their children and, when we were there, we found the house and gardens the perfect place to both relax with family and to reflect on recent events. In particular I liked having morning coffee with a few Petit Beurre biscuits, in the sun, at the table down past the pizza oven watching red squirrels, crested tits and treecreepers in the woods!

Beautiful, secure and well-designed villa in a peaceful setting, no overlooking neighbours. Large pool. Even more spacious than in photos. Walk-in wardrobes for most bedrooms that have comfy beds and tidy bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen with supersized island and an adjoining lovely shaded outside dining area. Owner hugely helpful, responsive and fluent also in English.
I’m rating the villa I stayed in, and the fabulous owners 5 stars as you couldn’t ask for anything better. The pool house was simply amazing and is exactly as in the pictures. I’d recommend it to everyone, it can’t be faulted.

We have loved living in your beautiful house and swimming in the fab pool, but most of all, the air of tranquility after a turbulent 3 years of Covid. The Bastide was exactly what we all needed after the last two and a half years. Spacious, very well appointed and with a beautiful garden and pool. My wife and I seldom do quiet holidays, we're more inclined to explore, visit and generally get out and about, but not this time, and the house and the village it sits in were perfect for this - a lovely unspoiled little place. True there's not much there, but that was just fine, a Tabac, cafe and restaurant were all that was needed. The house had so much space to stretch and breathe, despite there being seven of us. It was never crowded, never busy, no falling over each other, it was the perfect spot just to be. The greatest compliment, is that it only took about 36 hours before one of our party suggested we should get it booked for next year! I would have no hesitation in coming back and I'll happily recommend the property to anyone looking for a truly relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Just a quick note to say we loved our stay in your villa. Location is fabulous – we loved Tourettes and surrounds. The villa is lovely and worked well for two couples as we each had our own floor. The roof top terrace is a delight – we had breakfast and evening drinks there most nights. We also enjoyed lunches and dinner on the main balcony and the pool when the weather was hot.
We followed all your recommendations and were blown away by the quality of the dining out in such a small village. We particularly enjoyed Cinq and Spelt – really inventive food, fantastic wine pairings and wonderful service. Thanks for recommending the terrace at Spelt – we had a wonderful evening for our dinner there. Food at Clovis was good but we thought not as good as the others despite having the Michelin star. We also felt Clovis’s wine matching wasn’t quite as good. We still enjoyed it (just a comparison effect) and there is more menu choice so probably a good option for people who have particular likes and dislikes. We eat pretty everything so set tasting course menus work well for us!
The property management team were also super helpful.
The pool was great when we got there, we then had a few days of rain. I admit I spent a lot of time in the pool, it’s my favourite place. Your pool was amazing and the terrace was beautiful! We really did enjoy our stay at your house, it was spotless, comfortable and beautiful. The terraces were amazing and we had some lovely meals at sunset. I would recommend it to everyone. It was perfect so thank you.
This large villa is perfect for a large group with the two outside terraces offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The Chateau offers a spellbinding backdrop to your stay. The owner was a good host being flexible and responsive. The two rooms downstairs access the bathroom through one of the bedrooms which is not perfect but easily overcome. It's easy to spend time by the pool and it's easy to go on visits. You set you pace and it's easy to have a great time!
