After more than a decade since our last foreign holiday, we fancied a trip to the South of France and South France Villas provided a great selection of properties to choose from. We've not been disappointed with our choice. South France Villas client, August 2025.
The villa has been all we hoped for and more. The accommodation is superb, as are all the facilities. What a bonus to have cheese and bread waiting for us (and wine!). We enjoyed the breakfast deliveries and the lemon cake was gorgeous. Would recommend the Tuesday morning market at Olanzac. The boat trip from Le Somail was disappointing - think we chose the wrong one. Our week was very hot, so we made very good use of the lovely pool and the air conditioning was very welcome. We enjoyed walking and cycling into Maureilhan, the shopkeepers were all very welcoming and friendly. The villa was perfect for our family of 8 - would absolutely recommend it

Our week at the villa was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings. The villa is beautifully maintained. We spent hours in the pool, it was very windy during out stay and the owner came every morning to clean the pool! The wine tasting tour at the cave was really interesting, we ended up spending a fortune! Our host was perfect, the pastries were lovely and many thanks for the birthday cake for my husband's 60th birthday! The meal at La Tour was just amazing, so much so, that we decided to return for the birthday celebrations! It's been the kind of stay that recharges you in every way, we're leaving relaxed, inspired and already planning our return. Our hosts were very welcoming and available, the house and its pool are absolutely beautiful, a little corner of paradise. It was a pleasure to have breakfast in the morning at sunrise by the pool and admire the view, the birds and the dance of the swallows. I was able to clear my mind after a year of work, rest guaranteed. The house stays cool despite the heat, the orientation of the house is perfect and the temperature of the huge pool is impeccable. The place is perfect for visiting the region, or going to the seaside, shops are nearby. If we had known, we would have rented for 2 weeks! To sum up - highly recommended! July 2025.
We had an amazing holiday! A gorgeous villa, clean and well equipped. Thank you for being such a wonderful host, especially for the delicious pastries! The villa is so lovely, we have been more than happy to have some lazy days, but have also had some great outings. Carcassonne and its castle is not to be missed. The market at Olanzac on a Tuesday is fabulous, Narbonne beach is stunning and we really enjoyed taking a boat trip on the 9 Locks of Fonseranes. We would not hesitate to return, I think it would be very hard to find another place as good as this! Very sad to be returning home, but very lucky to have made some amazing memories. We had the most wonderful time. The chateau was absolutely spectacular, nothing like it!! What amazing hosts! They are the best. Helpful. Gracious. And full of history and knowledge of the place they love! Stephen is an amazing fisherman & we hope to join him again some day. Wonderful villa with beautiful views and direct access to a large terrace from several rooms, where we could enjoy the pool, dining and lounge areas, and jacuzzi. The hosts were amazing, making sure we had everything we needed.
Beautifully designed. All the ingredients you need for a great holiday. Enjoyed by 3 generations. The village is quiet but there are lots of amenities close by.

South France villas were very knowable about their properties and their booking systems and communications were of a high standard. Once the booking was complete we then dealt directly with the owner. The villa is utterly fantastic, and whilst very pricey, it was everything we wanted in a holiday. Clean, well-managed, tastefully decorated and every consideration had been made to the comfort of the occupants.
Lovely villa in the vineyards of Saint Chinian This was a very lovely property in a beautiful location between Saint Chinian and Assignan. We enjoyed wine tasting, day trips to the beach and hiking in the Haut Languedoc Parc nearby.
