What can I say to do this property justice? Everything is just perfect. The privacy of the pool area, which is bathed in sun all day. After a day out we relaxed around the pool in the sun until 8pm. The outdoor kitchen was amazing for barbecuing on the terrace. The bedrooms are so grand, and the mattresses, pillows and bedding are top quality. I loved the rain shower in the bathroom.

A true chateau, so elegant and romantic. Every room is so beautifully decorated and the added touch of genuine antiques and works of art is amazing. Being real foodies, we took the owners’ advice and booked the local caterer in the village for an evening meal in the grand dining room. It was very special, made even more special with the local wines he recommended. On other nights we walked to the village square and enjoyed the ‘plat du jour’ at the village restaurant/bar. The owner speaks fluent English and the locals were very friendly. I loved every minute of my stay.

Beautiful weather in April, unlike back at home. From the moment I walked through the front door into the opulent marble hallway and up the grand staircase to my suite, I felt like I was an actress in a period drama. We were a group of 12 and everyone agreed that we had booked the perfect location. So much to do in the area and so many places to visit. And after a day’s sightseeing, it was sheer bliss to spend time relaxing around the pool. As to the rooms and bathrooms, I can’t even describe how much thought has gone into the details like luxury bedding, pillows, towels, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and much more. I simply did not want to leave.

We had the most amazing time here. The chateau is decorated beautifully and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. We loved our days out in Carcassonne, Gruissan and the Safari Park. 2 of the guys in our party booked a day’s fishing on the Aude river with fishing guide and had a great time. The pool area is fabulous. The pool and ping pong tables were busy in the evenings and the air conditioned cinema room was a welcome addition. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Travelling with a group, I was lucky to end up in the Grand Suite on the first floor. After soaking in the bathtub, I loved sitting on the balcony simply listening to the fountain and reading a book in the bathrobe and slippers provided. The air conditioning was a real benefit for sleeping in the enormous bed. I am a keen amateur photographer and I got some great photographs at the nearby Safari Park in Sigean and at the pink salt lakes in Gruissan.
The villa and scenery offer a luxury experience that cannot be captured through pictures. Hollywood in Provence is not descriptive enough!!! I booked for a family gathering (my parent’s birthday) which included kids of all ages - we all had the most wonderful experience. It is also a great place for friends if you’d like to chill in the country side and be surrounded by nature, good food and wine!
I ran 10 km every morning with my brother around the vines and towards the hills breathing in the pure fresh air. It’s the kind of run you do that reminds me of how lucky you are to be alive…... I live in London, so I am not used to having so much nature around it was simply heaven. We cooked in the fabulous outside kitchen and swam in the magnificent pool, finishing with cocktails in the jacuzzi in the evenings. The morning sunrises are sublime and the setting sun sets the sky alight before the stars start to twinkle (helped by the delicious rosé)!!! There are also a lot of family activities available in the villa which makes it easy for everyone to find something to do without having to go anywhere.
The owner was absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We booked her private chef Alain who prepared the best birthday meal I have ever tasted and we had a fabulous party with some friends who we invited for the evening. My parents had the best birthday ever of which they will cherish the memory forever. Don’t hesitate to book, trust me, this is a very special place that you will never find anywhere else!
The Villa and Pool house were wonderful - better than we expected. The owners were very accommodating and attentive. They thought of everything possible to make the stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The location was great along with the very large pool. The pictures of this house do not do it justice. It is much more tranquil and beautiful in real life with lots of space for a family of 5. It is incredibly well appointed with lovely crockery and glasses and everything in between. The pool area is glorious and got sun all day long. There are also lots of other little courtyards and areas to sit. The owner and property manager were very responsive and welcoming. Would highly recommend! August 2023
We spent 2 weeks at this wonderful house. We were warmly welcomed by Philip and Patricia. To have them next door was really great. They were very kind and hospitable. The house was very well equipped. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable with lovely bedding and towels.The 4 bedrooms were a great size with the upstairs master a relaxing space. Bathrooms were well equipped with shampoos, conditioners and shower gel. The kitchen was very well resourced with everything you needed for self-catering for a family of 5. Great coffee machine. Lots of ice from the ice machine which was great. 2 fridges was also very helpful. The garden were just gorgeous - a breezy cool place to relax in the shade. We especially liked the exercise station under the pine trees. The tortoises were a fun addition to the holiday.
We used the wonderful pool... such a beautiful setting and loved the sun bathing chairs with their linen towels. We played tennis everyday and enjoyed the hitting wall. The pool table and table tennis table were also well used! Throughout the day we used the different places to eat and sit, both inside and out which was so relaxing and inspiring with the decoration and soft furnishings.
The local area was equally inspiring with restaurants and cafes in abundance. Supermarkets and shops within a short drive. We visited Pezenas several times enjoying the late night shopping and the market on the Saturday. We did many day trips to swim in the river and the sea as well as hiring canoes for the day on the river L'Herault. We also sampled wine from a beautiful local vineyard which was such a treat.
We would absolutely recommend this holiday villa for a family holiday as there is so much to do as well as places to relax and re-charge the batteries. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to book the villa again one day. Definitely has left a special place in my heart.

We spent two weeks at this gorgeous location. The villa had everything we needed for our family of three young adult children. The space in the villa was perfect and the luxury of having a swimming pool and access to the beach gave us the best of both worlds. We had our own paddle boards and enjoyed the sea every day. Supermarket, restaurants and water activities were all accessible by foot or a short bike ride. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Our host, was friendly, welcoming and responsive to all our requests. The villa is superb, with great art and a lovely pool. The location is easily accessible (without a car) as we used local buses and trains from Beziers. The owner also kindly gave us a lift! We very much enjoyed our stay.

Can I start by saying we have immensely enjoyed staying at your beautiful house. We holidayed in the languedoc for Felicity’s first ten years, until she decided All Inclusive holidays were her thing! So coming back this year, her choice last minute, has been wonderful for us. We have decided to leave the house tomorrow to stay our last night in La Cite, Carcassonne. A trip down memory lane. So we will be leaving the house before 12pm. We will leave the keys in the lock box. Thanks again we will definitely recommend!
Villa was lovely, although we have stayed here before so knew what to expect.
The location for us is fine, but can be a very short drive to bars or restaurants. You can however easily walk to a baker/butcher/supermarket. For us though, everything about is perfect and the owner seems like a really decent guy. Would definitely stay here again and hope to do so.

We have had the most wonderful 2 weeks staying in this beautiful converted old stone barn house, in the heart of Ginestas. There was nothing that we couldn’t find within the house to make it truly feel like a home away from home. The living area was extremely spacious, we never felt like we were on top of each other in the house. The courtyard is completely private and the sun shines in it throughout the day. We have three children aged 12, 11 & 7 and they spent the majority of the time having so much fun in the pool. We were staying there while there was an extreme heatwave of about 45 degrees for 3-4 days so the pool was a relief, but inside the house was lovely and cool too, if you wanted it to be. Jess, who was our point of contact, would reply within minutes if ever we needed any advice about places to visit etc. We spent many evenings eating outside, making use of the outdoor mini kitchen area in the courtyard.
The village itself is a truly charming traditional French Languedoc village, with a lovely community feel to it. There are a few places to eat and we enjoyed each of them. Le Table du Casino was probably our favourite, the kids had shuffleboard and a few other games in there to keep them happy which meant the adults were also happy!
