The Bastide was exactly what we all needed after the last two and a half years. Spacious, very well appointed and with a beautiful garden and pool. My wife and I seldom do quiet holidays, we're more inclined to explore, visit and generally get out and about, but not this time, and the house and the village it sits in were perfect for this - a lovely unspoiled little place. True there's not much there, but that was just fine, a Tabac, cafe and restaurant were all that was needed. The house had so much space to stretch and breathe, despite there being seven of us. It was never crowded, never busy, no falling over each other, it was the perfect spot just to be. The greatest compliment, is that it only took about 36 hours before one of our party suggested we should get it booked for next year! I would have no hesitation in coming back and I'll happily recommend the property to anyone looking for a truly relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Just a quick note to say we loved our stay in your villa. Location is fabulous – we loved Tourettes and surrounds. The villa is lovely and worked well for two couples as we each had our own floor. The roof top terrace is a delight – we had breakfast and evening drinks there most nights. We also enjoyed lunches and dinner on the main balcony and the pool when the weather was hot.
We followed all your recommendations and were blown away by the quality of the dining out in such a small village. We particularly enjoyed Cinq and Spelt – really inventive food, fantastic wine pairings and wonderful service. Thanks for recommending the terrace at Spelt – we had a wonderful evening for our dinner there. Food at Clovis was good but we thought not as good as the others despite having the Michelin star. We also felt Clovis’s wine matching wasn’t quite as good. We still enjoyed it (just a comparison effect) and there is more menu choice so probably a good option for people who have particular likes and dislikes. We eat pretty everything so set tasting course menus work well for us!
The property management team were also super helpful.
The pool was great when we got there, we then had a few days of rain. I admit I spent a lot of time in the pool, it’s my favourite place. Your pool was amazing and the terrace was beautiful! We really did enjoy our stay at your house, it was spotless, comfortable and beautiful. The terraces were amazing and we had some lovely meals at sunset. I would recommend it to everyone. It was perfect so thank you.
This large villa is perfect for a large group with the two outside terraces offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The Chateau offers a spellbinding backdrop to your stay. The owner was a good host being flexible and responsive. The two rooms downstairs access the bathroom through one of the bedrooms which is not perfect but easily overcome. It's easy to spend time by the pool and it's easy to go on visits. You set you pace and it's easy to have a great time!

Très grande maison, dommage que de base on ne puisse pas y être un peu plus (nos enfants de mois d'un an étant comptés comme des adultes). La pool house séparée a permi aux personnes sans enfants d'être tranquillles la nuit :) (mais c'est le cas dans la maison aussi, les bruits ne s'entendant quasi pas.) We have had a great time in this wonderful house with fantastic views of the countryside. The house has lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and also a large kitchen/living area, which makes it suitable for a large group. But since it is also very cosy, it is also very suitable for a smaller group or a couple. It has all amenities, like good kitchen, terrace with BBQ, swimming pool, garden, pool table, tv etc for a relaxing holiday. The house is surrounded by vineyards, but also the sea, the Causes and even the Pyrenees are not that far away, so an excellent location to explore the Languedoc (either by car or by bicycle). We (2 adults and 3 boys ages 11,13 & 14) stayed at the villa for 2 weeks and had a brilliant holiday. The villa is decked out to a very high standard and the owners provide all sorts of extras to make the stay easy.
There really is everything you could ever need and more.
The pool is a good size - the boys loved it. The patio is again equipped with loungers, chairs, tables, umbrellas - it is a lovely place to relax.
Only 5 minutes drive away is Roujan where the big supermarket can be found.

I meant to email you when we got back to say how pleased we were with the experience we had with your company. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The property owner was also really helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. The apartment was amazing (I don't think the photos on your website actually do it justice!). It's probably the nicest accommodation we have rented and we have been to quite a few places! It was very clean and had everything we needed there. It was a fantastic location with beautiful balcony views, easy access to the beach and the 'shared' pool we had to ourselves most of the time.

Perfectly situated only a 60 yard walk from the lively village centre which has a fantastic friendly bar frequented by all the locals. The Villa is well equipped with a good kitchen, comfortable beds and ideal outdoor space designed for alfresco dining after cooling off in the pool. The local shops include a butcher, baker, deli, fromagerie, a great pizzeria and three restaurants so there is no need to do the big supermarket shop, just shop daily for fresh food as needed. We had a lovely time at Capestang there was so much to do there and your house was lovely. And here is some feedback you can put on the website or other channels/ give other people about things to do:
The house is beautiful, the swimming pool a real treat and the owners have thought of everything to keep children entertained with pool, table tennis and card games and the air conditioning was most welcome in the 2 main bedrooms.
Capestang itself is lovely and everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the music in the square on a Saturday night was a holiday high and all the restaurants was excellent. If you want to travel further a field, the river Orb and Saint Guilhem le Desert, both pretty villages with excellent water activities, the marinas and beaches of Meze and Sete and the romance of Carcassonne were all holiday highs, the dinosaur park near Meze was also surprisingly good if you have younger children and finally the restaurants in Le Somail are excellent and well worth the trip. We stayed in Capestang for 14 days and never once were we bored and always considered the 12 hr drive well worth the trip.
The only thing you may want to warn people about are the church bells which ring every hour including during the night, they weren’t a problem for us, but could well have a huge impact on a light sleeper - but other than that I don’t have any suggestions on how to improve the whole holiday experience as we simply had a lovely time.
