We have had holidays in the area a few times before and can not get enough of South of France. We spent a wonderful 7 weeks in Minoustan during May and June 2015. The weather was a pleasure during these months, getting steadily warmer. We didn’t need the heating and moved from a duvet in May to a blanket in June. Minoustan is a delightful home, garden, and pool. The owner, who was there to meet us, has equipped the house with great taste and practicality. The interior decoration is aligned to the region with flavours of other countries around the world. Each bedroom has a bathroom, well supplied with linen and towels. The kitchen has everything, indeed much more than we had ever come across. The outside pool, seating and eating spaces are well designed and appointed. The Planchet is fabulous, much better than a barbecue. We employed the services of Stephanie each week to housekeep, she is a treasure. There is a brilliantly appointed supply of games, DVD’s and CD’s. We suggest ’To Catch a Thief’, which was filmed locally. We drove and took quite a lot with us in the car. Actually most of what we took we didn’t need as everything is included. The village of Gattieres is about a 7 minute drive away and St Jeannet around 10 minutes. My husband and I decided to get married last July in Eze, even though we are both from the United States. We picked the Villa as our home for the week. We are so happy we chose it! There we hosted many gatherings for our guests and enjoyed poolside BBQs to celebrate our new marriage! This venue was by far the best part of our whole wedding. We hosted a bbq and pool party after our legal ceremony which we held up in Eze Village. Villa Panorama completely exceeded all expectations we had and satisfied the anticipation we felt about such a big life event. Each room of the Villa is styled with class and charm. I felt it was very clean and organized. You are walking around in nature with the beautiful plants surrounding the villa. The living room is spacious and is a wonderful space to spend time with guests surrounding the fireplace. Besides the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms that are located within the Villa, there is an additional bedroom and full bathroom located in a sort of pool house that faces the ocean with stretching glass windows. This was a great place for my husband and I to unwind while the rest of the family was together in the house. Picture this: You are in the French Riviera. You are on a mountain. You are overlooking the Mediterranean ocean from the infinity pool. Everyone is smiling and enjoying themselves. The proprietor, is endlessly warm and gracious. There's nothing too big or small he can't find for you. He genuinely enjoys seeing his guests enjoy the property. The location is walking distance from the Eze Sur Mer train station, the beach, and Anjuna Plage Privee, a great local restaurant. Nice, Eze Village, and Monte Carlo are all a short drive away, but you will not want to leave. There is no reason to leave. You are in paradise. You could easily have a wedding at this Villa. It can easily hold 150 people and creates such a warm and intimate environment that people just unwind and become the best possible version of themselves. I cannot speak highly enough about the Villa. Thank you for a lovely week at the Chateau.The whole family gathered here (7 adults, 4 children) to celebrate a 40th Wedding Anniversay and it was a trip to be remembered. The Chateau itself was the perfect space for a large group - lots of room to spread out but yet accommodated meals and time together. The kids enjoyed the pool and the garden.We got croissants most mornings and had a lovely meal (wine & food pairings) at Le Bergerie. The rest of our dinners were prepared for us by the cooks we engaged and were absolutely great! We had fun exploring what the area had to offer and had a lovely time spending time with family. We are home from our holiday and just wanted to express our gratitude to you for allowing us to share your beautiful Chateau. It was truly a marvellous experience and a month we will never forget. We miss the it, the village life and the wonderful ambience that belongs to the Chateau.
As you know we had about 30 friends and family join us over the 4 weeks with a new group coming in each Saturday. This was a truly special time for all of us to explore the area, cook the local cuisine and be part of the village community.
There were so many highlights, but we will always remember Sebastian as we made our daily vigil to his shop for croissants in the morning and beers in the late afternoon before dinner. We walked the many trails surrounding the village and just loved the wildflowers and our very own babbling brook. But I think it was the way the local villagers treated us that made it truly memorable. Everyday the locals would greet us and talk about - well Im not sure what - but the languange barrier did not stop them chatting to us every day.
The staff at Le Bergerie were amazing and each week they supplied the most amazing dining experience for our guests. Quite a treat to have such a first class restaurant.
So thank you - thank you! The time was beyond expectations and provided us with our once in a lifetime French experience that will never be forgotton!

This home is the perfect location to see Provence. It is a mere 5 to 8 minute drive to Aix where there are great markets, museums,restaurants and shopping. Marseille airport and the TGV are close by and easily accessible. If one has a car, there is no limit to easy day- trips, ours included Marseille, Cassis, Avignon, Arles, Gordes ,St Remy, Luberon hills and some in our party even managed Nice. The house is well designed with a large terrace for pool and patio meals. A well treed property with lovely landscaping provides great privacy from surrounding neighbors but allows for various outdoor activities. The large house is beautiful with sufficient room to easily accommodate group and/or solitary pleasures. The five bedrooms and three baths are separated into three sections, providing great privacy and quiet.The kitchen is a cook's dream with good appliances and ample room for comfortable meal prep while still being able to allow for others to congregate. There is a great fruit and vegetable shop within walking distance where one can also buy wine, cheese and sweets if a larger shop at Carrefour is not desirable. The property manager Paul and his lovely wife are available when needed for advice, directions or help but are unobtrusive. The only slight negative would be the rush hour traffic on the small road in front of the property-otherwise, everything was perfect.
