Beyond our expectations as pictures and words don't prepare you for this villa WOW location and fantastic amenities. Our age group was from 10 to 80 and everyone wanted to stay two more relaxing weeks. The lucky owner was the perfect host. Near enough to the Riviera far enough for peace and quiet. This is the second consecutive year that we have used South France Villas. We came back this year because the service was so good last year! They are all friendly and very quick to respond to any queries. This was our second consecutive year in this villa and it is gorgeous. The scenery and the pool is just amazing. It was just as good as last year and it's a shame that it's come to an end! The villa, although remote, is perfectly located with lots to do locally. There isn't much need to leave the villa though as the swimming pool is lovely and large with a beautiful view and lots of sun lounges and chairs. Super U is approximately 20 minutes drive away and it is open until 7.30 pm every day except Sunday when it closes at 12 noon.) Pezenas has some beautiful shops which are open until midnight on both Wednesday and Friday (throughout August) with lots of little eating out places. We would feel happy to recommend this charming Villa. Our family thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous week there in wonderful accommodation and surroundings. The guardians Terry and Karen were extremely helpful and and accommodating throughout our stay. Les Chenes Vertes proved to be a perfect layout on its three floors for our family size and structure, we found it so spacious and relaxing. We enjoyed several evenings on the terrace with a glass of wine once the youngsters were asleep. Our beds were all very comfortable and had lovely bed linens, we found the kitchen extremely well equipped and the B-B-Q very easy to use. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool, the table tennis and the freedom of the garden and its surroundings. We found the villas central position a great bonus, it was so easy to visit Valbonne, Mougins, Antibes, Grasse and Monte Carlo with so many lovely restaurants to choose from. The grandchildren also went go-carting,horse riding and to the water park, all of these amenities were within easy driving distance of the villa, and our five year old granddaughter had a great time in Grasse making her own perfume in one of the perfumeries. There was so much to fit into our week and for all of us it went far to quickly. Gut ausgerüstete Küche und Grill. Einzig die Espressomaschine hat gefehlt. Geniale Abendstimmungen. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit hilfsbereit bei Fragen oder Problemen und gibt gerne und gute Hinweise zu Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Restaurant/Einkauf. South France Villas was great at helping us get an amazing last minute booking. Casa St Elme was fantastic - beautiful and luxurious inside and out, really well equipped, peaceful and central. Really safe and fun for the kids who just roamed around in their own spaces! We had an amazing time here. We did have a bit of trouble finding the right entrance gate at first but we were found after a phone call! Everything was perfect, 3 couples and 2 kids. We had a great time. The pool was lovely the villa was bigger than in the pictures. Location was perfect, short drive from the beach, town, supermarkets, Beziers is gorgeous. We loved our stay here – far exceeded all of our expectations. We met up with a group of friends for a stay in August of 2016 and couldn’t have been happier. We left our booking a little late and were surprised this one was still available. 14 of us in all – 7 adults and 7 kids (one baby). We knew the house would be nice from the pictures and it didn’t disappoint. Very French and just beautiful. So much space and really well thought out – place to eat outside, tons of space for the kids, near a historic church and walking distance to the little shops that make France so great – bakery, butcher, fruit & veg specialty shops and a small supermarket (two big ones just a ten minute drive away). The biggest surprise was the village overall. We loved being in a smaller village and it had much more life than we were expecting. They had a festival when we were there (complete with a walking around black fireworks flaming paper mache bull) and on our last night they had a small block party for karaoke night where they blocked off the main street – so much fun. I knew I’d be drinking lots of wine and eating lots of cheese on this trip, but the last thing I thought I’d be doing was singing (terribly) with a bunch of French locals at midnight. 20min drive to great beaches near Adge (Rochelongue was our favorite – where we ate at L’infini). We also saw the fireworks there on the Wed – beautiful. Loved this villa and Montblanc. Staying away from one of the bigger cities really turned out to be a bonus – Montblanc was such a surprise – so much character and not overcrowded with tourists. We’ve had a lovely week here and enjoyed some beautiful spring weather at Les Chênes Verts. The villa is excellently equipped and having Karen and Terry on hand to help with queries and directions is invaluable. The children have used the pool (in wetsuits) and spent happy hours playing table tennis and boules. With so many great places to visit nearby we’ve had lovely days at the beach, walking the Gorges-du-Loup and visiting the Maeght Foundation. This villa holiday in Villa Chenet was a joy beginning to end - the organisation was professional and friendly with no problems at all and when we arrived at the villa it was even more stunning than the photographs - especially the beautiful outside areas. The villa was the best equipped villa we have stayed in (they even provided pool towels and mosquito repellent!) and the pool especially was a high point as were the views and the nearby village to buy fresh bread and groceries. When we had the odd query the owner or the housekeeper were quick to respond and very kind. Had an amazing holiday and would definitely come back. The owner was wonderful and kind, and very helpful. Aircon in two bedrooms welcome and only negative was aircon wasn't in poolside room... We were fine but in summer could be an issue for someone... The main house bedroom no aircon but cool as no expose to afternoon sun. Definitely a wonderful location.. Excellent walks around the vineyards in the mornings, and great for getting to Narbonne, Carcassone etc. All round excellent and would happily return! This villa was excellent. Patrick and his wife are wonderful people and seem to take real pleasure in knowing that you have enjoyed your time there. Although it is on a residential street, it is quieter than some we have stayed in that are 'in the middle of nowhere '. The location is good, just a couple of minutes walk (next to a road) to a reasonable supermarket and an excellent butchers/bakers. The pool is in a lovely position in the huge garden! The area around the pool have some kind of shade,whatever the time of day. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and coupled with the fact that the price is so reasonable, I would not hesitate to go back.Family G, South France Villas clients July
